I think she is hard & charmless,as well as talentless & cheap.

 

I was having a discussion about her with a colleague last night. He was defending her because of her age but I pointed out that at 17 she could still be more respectful and all round a more pleasant person than she is coming across. No 17 year old needs the amount of make-up she plasters on. A bit more humility and she might've won over more fans.

She is 17 and ambitious, it's a dog eat dog world particularly in their business. Simon Cowell on the other hand is old enough to have learn some humility, he looks really shifty self absorbed and is totally unlikable.

I agree with you Chickencam, I cannot stand Simon Cowell, horrible man. I hate the way he waits to make his comment until the audience have more or less swayed him in one direction or the other. That's the way it seems to me.

 

I don't overly like Cher but I do think its probably her age and she could be really nervous which comes across as being arrogant. She is definitely more distinctive than Mary. I quite like it when she sings ballads, she has a surprisingly nice voice but her diction needs work - as does Matt's.

One Direction are on the road at the moment being mobbed by girls everywhere they go.

I work on a farm and we have cakes delivered everyday from the bakers that Harry Stiles used to work at.

The man that brings them told us that the whole band plus camera crew, minders etc came to the bakery yesterday. It was mayhem! He showed me some pictures of them all. Apparently they took some footage of them buying pies/cakes to be shown on the show on Saturday. He is a friend of Harrys parents and he says they really are all super lads and all get along really well.

Not my musical taste, but good luck to them. They seem genuinely good lads and have worked hard to pull together on Simons say so and form a band.

Im sure all of the finalists will do well post Xfactor. Looking at some others who didnt win like JLS, Diana Vickers, Olly Murs it dosent seem to matter much.

My daughter is obsessed with One Direction, so they will probably get a vote from us.

Hmm, bit disappointed with the performances tonight. The duets were 'interesting' to say the least. Will.I.Am sounded like he was autotuned.

So glad Cher is out. Love Rebecca or Matt to win. All the little girls will want the boys to win and so would I if I were thier age. I wish.

Thought Rihanna stole the show, she's a stunner and sings really well live.

 

Matt was weak, think everything has caught up with him. I noticed in the duet he was struggling to even breathe.

 

Rebecca has the talent, but is a tad boring to me. Has a good voice for recording.

 

Think One Direction will win it with the teen vote, although most of their singing is filled with backing vocals.

I didn't like Matt tonight, but loved his face when he was singing with Rhianna, so sweet

 

I loved Cher tonight she was true to herself sang well and was not over awed by Will I Am, I am sure that she will get her career in time, she is a tough cookie.

 

I think that I would like to see One Direction win, I think that Rebecca would find that life after winning would take her away from her friends and family not to mention her children too much, as a runner up she could have a toned down version which would suit her better in the long run.

I think I'd quite like One Direction to win too. I love Matt but think that his voice is not standing up to the strain very well and he can be a bit hit and miss.

 

I only really like the occasional Rebecca song, her voice is just too samey for me and whilst she seems like a lovely young woman I wouldn't buy any of her records.

 

Not that I'd probably rush out to buy One Direction's either though They seem like a great bunch of boys and I'm sure all the teenyboppers will be voting like mad.

I think Rebecca to win - we need a good new soul singer. As long as they don't try to change her into another Alexandra or Leona and give her some good soul/blues stuff, I'd buy her! I love the old stuff from Dinah Washington and Aretha Franklin et al.

My nine year old has never shown any interest in music at all but she really really likes Matt and has asked for his CD for Christmas. She's got nothing to play it on! I've been struggling to find anything for her for Christmas so a CD player for her room it is then

Rebecca did so well tonight I thought. She almost appeared relieved not to have won. I am sure that she will be a huge success and it will probably be better for her not to be under so much pressure. I had money on Matt to win after he got through at the judges houses. I am not sure who I wanted to win tonight. I feel that Matt didn't quite live up to his initial promise. I think he lacks charisma

Me too. I was convinced she would win. I hope she continues with her career. I think she has a unique and special talent and seems a very sweet natured girl.

I thought I wasn't too fussed who won but when they announced Matt's name I shouted 'yes', I really liked him from the beginning but thought he'd had a duff few weeks although to be fair Rebecca had too.

 

Thought her rendition of Sweet Dreams was brilliant.

I was happy which ever of the final three won, but was extra happy when Matts name was called out Heard his winners single on Radio 1 this morning. I like it, not as good as the original, but still good. Only thing I don't like is the obvious key change towards the end Ruins it
