Having seen Plum's wonderful shoes on the thread entitled 'Cockerel accessory' with chooks on the front and 'Plum' on the back (Plum, if you see this, can you post them here for people to see more off - front and back - they are so original?) I have to ask, did anyone else get any chickeny Xmas presents?

 

I got a 'Chicken tidy' (i.e. Kitchen tidy with little chickens as pegs) from the lady who looks after my dogs when I have to be away all day, and a sweet little wooden chicken from my sister that rocks back and forth pecking. It is on my kitchen window sill.

 

My chickens had brussel sprout 'trees' and freshly opened coconut. They adored both.

I got a cockerel wind chime and my friend gave me her cockerel weather vane which she doesn't want any more. I am going to have him painted.

I had a very nice side plate with a cockerel on & some coaster & 2 cube run extensions...oh & a subscription to practical poultry ( these were from the whole family!).

 

I can't believe those cool slippers!!

I got some purple spray I did ask for some, it wasn't just a random present!!

Also got my first eglu, but that was more of a christmas present for us all

My boyfriend got me an Oxfam Unwrapped chicken and a bantam sized egg cup and his parents got me 10 egg boxes, a rubber egg, a beware of the chickens sign and some chicken porridge. Defiently been spoilt this year!

Yep, I got a chicken ornament from a friend , an egg cup and egg cosy with my name on from another friend and the extraordinary chickens calendar from my sister

One of the children in my class bought me a sweet little china chook....apparently she bought it for me in October!

Before I got the Eglu or chickens, for xmas I got an egg skelter and the knight and castle egg cup set. Hopefully will be using them soon/

My daughter bought me 3 new millefleur pekin bantam girls dottie,fleur and baby so now i have 8 bantams

I got a lovely wooden chicken from my sister in France and a great sign - Beware of the hen poo- (very appropriate) from my daughter Kate who chicken sits whilst we are away. I think they have her wound around their little feathery toes!!

How great having chickens as a Christmas present and lucky they got the choice right

 

I did have rather a chickenny christmas as well. Chicken mug, shoes as already posted, a chicken doormat, 2 brush chickens, a chicken stapler, a little glass chicken and an egg from Grackle

 

Well when asked what I'd like for christmas I said anything chickenny and I like naff presents and gave the link to Ilikechickens. Love them all though

I bought my husband a wooden chicken construction kit and a Haynes Chicken Keeping Manual. The girls 'somehow' managed to borrow my credit card and know my password to Amazon - they bought us a lovely wire mesh type egg basket in the shape of a chicken! How they typed with only claws or a beak I'll never know!

 

From the family & friends we've got an oven glove, cake tin & apron with identical chicken patterns on them. We also got a two mug, coaster & tea tray set from a friend. Not chicken-y, but for the second year running my Mum-in-Law bought me a wonderful guinea pig ornament!

 

I think that's all of the chicken related paraphanalia we recived. Looks like we've all had a good haul this year! Happy New Year everyone. XxX
