chicken bark
Mine came in the post this morning. Not looked at it yet.
Seagazer
Mine also came this morning but I've not opened it yet. I think its quite exciting, especially as I do quite a bit of research into my family history, to think that future generations may well look at mine and wonder who I was and what I did (not a lot )

Cinnamon
Mine is here - I am going to do mine online this time.
chickencam
We haven't had ours yet. I love things like this because I am an information junkie We will probably do ours online this time. I don't really remember the last one, it must be because the children were quite small and I was wrapped up in them.
Old Speckled Hen
Mine hasn't come yet........... Will do it online and will have to help mum with hers...infact I might do hers online too. I remember feeling a bit rebellious last time at the seeming intrusiveness of the questions but I suppose we are all on lots of databases already so another won't matter much. I talked to the young lady that was collecting them door to door and she said she got a lot of flack from quite a few people. I felt quite sorry for her, it's not as if it was her fault
Mrs Webmuppet
Having researched my family tree and used the historic census, I feel they are history in the making. In a hundred years ( or thereabouts) time there may be a future generation of Webmuppets viewing the 2011 census with the same interest as I viewed the 1911 census of my Great Grandparents and my Grandmothers siblings, ( I'm looking forward to the 1921 census to see what they were all up to!) Seagazer
One good thing about doing them online should be less chance for mistakes. My Granddad's place of birth has been transcribed on one census as being Rathmines, India. Its in Dublin really quite close I suppose

Alis girls
How the hell am I s'pose to know who i sleeping here on 27/3? I might have a houseful of 15 yr olds bedding down on my floor or an extra 9 yr old staying over. Didnt include hens or cats
Charlottechicken
Got mine today as well. I haven't opened it yet though. I noticed on the back it says "if undelivered..." and I did think how can it be undelivered as it is addressed to the occupier? Then I realised there is a house a couple of streets away which has been painstakingly pulled down, brick by brick, now that census will be undelivered
MummyHen
Haven't had mine yet - will probably fill it in online I'd like to think that in the future my decendants will look and wonder what we were like when they read it in 100yrs time. I too am waiting for the the 1921 census for my research - I also have Rathmines in my tree
Lesley
I'm still waiting for mine - and waiting to see whether I'm allowed to put English as nationality.....it wasn't allowed last time and was crossed out for me as I refused to do it

Chook n Boo Mum
We got ours yesterday ......two copies to the same address, but different barcodes......why ?....DH was so happy to see them, he sat in the corner of the sofa huffing & puffing for at least half an hour ......then proceeded to right notes on how to calculate square roots all over one of the envelopes Do we have to fill in both copies do you think as they are different codes? That'll make him a very happy bunny
