Redwing
Two and a half years ago I bought a cockerel from a garden/poultry centre, he was in the 'last chance saloon' section as a reject from the centres own breeding programme and Cooks and Falkor talked me in to bringing him home as a pet. Imagine my surprise when he proved to be a big prize winner! Tarzan: Then last year his son gained the dizzy heights of winning best softfeather heavy breed bantam at the National show, there were nearly a thousand softfeather heavy bantams there, he went on to win and win Tarzan's son Jack: Today Jack's son Kwijibo won best barred Wyandotte at the Wyandotte Club show winning the cup that Jack won last year Jack's son Kwijibo: We have come a long way in two and a half years I still dont think I can persuade the average poultry show goer that its ok for chickens to have names though

chick wiggle
What a massive achievement Tasha! You must be very proud, and like you said, all in two and a half years! You obviously have an extremely good eye. Amazing! Congratulations!
Redwing
I took ten all together but there were probably over 30 there, they are hugely popular Wyandottes will show for a few years, Jack was also there yesterday and Tarzan would have been but he has been very ill so is taking a rest Some breeds have a very small window of show-worthiness though, Leghorns and Rosecombs for example, sometimes its literally a couple of months!
