docsquid
Beautiful! White silkies! I only have silkie bantams (one silver frizzle silkie, and two blue splash silkies) but absolutely love them. I can't wait to see your photos

Chortle Chook
Lucky lucky you I can't wait to see the pictures! If there is any way you can put them against something that shows their size when you take their pix, I would be most grateful as I've always wondered how much bigger a large fowl silkie is than my girlies. sparkysmum
Great news Can't wait to see them. Lucky you and lucky hens
Redwing
These ones are officially large fowl. The breeder that Lolalayla is getting hers from breeds bigger ones than these though Ex batt and Araucana bantam for size reference, they are roughly the same size as the ex batt These are proper bantam sized ones, kitchen tiles are the size reference here So many are an inbetween size though

keyhole kate
I have a White one called spooks she's a fiesty little madam she is about the same size as my pekins so I'm not sure if she is a bantam or large fowl but she is very fluffy and cuddly

Chortle Chook
These ones are officially large fowl. The breeder that Lolalayla is getting hers from breeds bigger ones than these though Ex batt and Araucana bantam for size reference, they are roughly the same size as the ex batt I have in-betweenies but I'd really love a biggy like you have, Redwing. They are so very very pretty!! Is that buff shading they have on their wings and heads 'cause it makes them prettier than pure white ones. Ain't Nobody Here
ANH- you will need to think about names for yours too I've responded on the Little Facts and Things Thread already as hadn't noticed this . Err, guess what we decided on for names? Lulu and Layla . Process of elimination using the Wiki chicken names list - I never twigged . Looks like we were both busy today getting things ready for our new babies .

LolaLayla
Here are the girls They are lovely and are now in their eglu with run. The weather is awful, really wet and windy, fortunately they are in a good spot. I thought it was best to try to get a photo inside as it is easier for you to see them. I will try to get more in a few days time. One had laid an egg in the box when we picked her up Lola and Layla spotted them being brought in and started shouting! It did not sound very welcoming
