Poorly! Gallbladder **Am home

Recommended Posts

Aww thank you everyone! Have had some salmon & some rice for tea - quite late on. Have had my last glass of Apple juice & am full up. So have unless I have a mega thirst before midnight - I think I'll start my nil by mouth!

Going bed in a few minutes - not sure how much sleep I'll get, but will try my best.

I spent this afternoon watching the lambs in the field over the stream playing. Having races & waving their cute lamb tails. I enjoyed it so much that I dropped off in my chair!

The farmer is bringing us some ewes & lambs soon - they might be here for when I come home.

I think I may be home on Tuesday - but not sure. I really hope so, as I love my home, the animals & the scenery around it. Money couldn't buy the view we have here! Sooo relaxing!

Do they still have those awful gowns in hospitals? The ones that split open at the back & everyone sees your bottom!:vom: I was last in hospital when I was 14 for my appendix to be removed. That was lousy!

I'm sure Aberystwyth hospital will be much better. They have been excellent so far - the staff so caring. :D

Will say bye for now & when I'm next on here, I will be one little bit less ' Emma'.

See you again soon.

Hi everyone! I was allowed home at 3pm this afternoon. I am sore & walking like a little old lady - but hey it's over & I'm home! I'll make you all laugh now. As when I came round from the anesthetic in the recovery room I said to the nurse " I've been dreaming" & I was smiling. She asked me was it a nice dream? I said " yes, I was dreaming about chickens"!!!

I've been talk of the ward!

I have been sent home with two of my stones. There were loads, but they only gave me 2 to show the variation in size. One is just like a Malteaser.

When I got home, I sat on the bench outside & watched the lambs playing - lovely! :D

I'm a bit disabled at the moment - I can't bend down at all & got my trousers stuck round my ankles earlier. All hubby could hear was me whimpering from the bedroom. I got told off for not shouting him!

I couldn't have asked for better care! It was excellent & I will be writing the ward a thank you card!

So back in the land of the living - but a bit sore & bent up.

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes.

Really pleased to hear from you and glad it's all over and you're home! (Did the fairies come!!!!???:roll::whistle: )

I have a friend who had her GB removed a while ago, she will be GUTTED you were allowed to keep a couple of your stones, they wouldn't let her keep any of hers (hospital said they were a "choking hazard" :wall::wall: )

Take it easy now and start planning everything you can do when you are feeling better. Great to have you back!!!!
