Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

OK, actually I'm celebrating on her behalf, 'cos my lovely Sky-hen has been out of her cage for three years today .

 

She's the first I've managed to get to three years out and, although it's not a record for an ex-batt, she's doing very well for a lady who's between four and four and a half years old. She even tried to lay me an egg today, though it would have been better with a shell round it .

 

This is what she looked like three years ago - very thin and pale, and lacking in the feather department

 

 

and this is what she looks like now - a proper pretty cheeky chook!
