 I remember those days well.

Busy evening and I'm knackered... got in from work, Rosie asked for a lift to training as she'd left it too late to cycle there, so go back out, load her road bike in the car etc, get back.... go next door to check their house and feed the cats while they are away. Back indoors, feed our cats and put the chooks in, take the dogs out for a walk, bakc in and change fro circuit training before heading out again. Just got in and I now need a slave to shower me and put me to bed!

Sleep well DM.

I was a very brave girl at the dentist today. Last time I went 2 years ago,not the same dentist, I had a filling and a panic attack :( I didn't like being stuck in the chair with my mouth clamped open and a square rubber sheet pinned across my teeth and tongue. :anxious: OH recommended his dentist and I had intended to sign up with him but not got around to it until about a week ago when a lump fell out of one of my molars. I took the plunge and made an appointment for today. This dentist was lovely a real character just as OH had described, he chatted to me and made me feel at ease, took everything in stages and kept asking if it was ok to continue. What a difference, the other chap didn't say a word to me the whole time.

I had x rays, scale and polish and a filling with no local anaesthetic and only a few flutterings of panic, it wasn't cheap but was worth every penny. I came out with my dignity and nerves largely intact and a mended tooth. Well done that man

Oh good grief  just seen the photos of the Ecclestone girl's wedding - just goes to show that money can't buy good taste and style; it reminds me of one of those Big Fat Gypsy Weddings. Does anyone else think it looks like the groom has had a full body wax? The photo showing his wedding ring shows a totally hairless hand... very odd.

WaaayHaaay! Have a great time - Roger Daltrey was a major crush of mine 20+ years ago.

Me too - I think he may still be  . Not looking bad for a 69 year old (especially when the jacket came off and the buttons were undone a bit more  ).

The concert was fabulous - Roger and Pete have both still got it 8) . It was an amazing show with film montage on huge round screens with tributes to Keith Moon and loads of news reel footage. I actually felt quite young compared to most of the audience  .

Just back from Isle of Wight Festival  ....I am no longer a Festy Virgin  ...camping was good....neighbours not too rowdy  ....acts we saw were worth going for....and if any of you older bods ie over 21ish  decide to take the plunge & go to a Festival, then book posh loos (cleaned between uses) & lockers (with onboard mobile chargers) for your car keys and other small valuables (cash & credit cards etc) they are an absolute godsend!

We walked miles to & from the car but the sack truck/trolley & rucksacks made it easier, and packing food & clothes into "day" bags was a flash of genius as the tent was small and the weather was forecast to be horrible, the risk of everything being washed away on a sea of mud & rain made us leave everything in the car which was not needed for that day....obviously we took too much of everything (anyone who's ever been anywhere with me that involves an overnight stay knows I cannot pack light!)

Will we go again? Yes I think so, but take my camper & live in that  ...and still have the posh loos :anxious:

Camper should have come with us, but hubs took it to Germany with DS.....next year I will not relent!
