chickencam Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Lovely and cool here at 7am when we took ED to the station for a train to London, unfortunately just after we left her her train and many others were cancelled because of storm damage to signals. She got there in the end though via Bristol instead. Very hot here now after a brief overcast period. This morning there is quite a breeze blowing and it feels cooler quite cloudy and it looks like it might rain although that is not forecast for today. Relentless sun makes me feel sad, I'm much happier with a healthy variety of weather. A couple of cooler days will perk me up and get me ready for the next lot of hot. I'm loving the hot summer but it is nice to have some variety and that the plants and lawn (or what's left of it - grass hungry girls!) are getting properly watered. Also MUCH cooler. chickencam Posted August 8, 2014 Share Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) We have had stunning weather in Hove this week, it rained overnight one night but the only daylight rain that we have had is now, it started to rain about half an hour ago just as we went outside to read for an hour before dark.
