chickencam Posted August 13, 2015 Share Posted August 13, 2015 We had a great sunset last night after a blustery warm day, it clouded over late afternoon so I thought that we wouldn't see any of the meteor shower, but we did, it was as clear as a bell at midnight. We spent a happy half hour lying on sun loungers with a lovely warm breeze fluttering over us watching shooting stars It is overcast here but no rain as yet. Purplemaniacs Posted August 14, 2015 Share Posted August 14, 2015 It was very windy yesterday afternoon, it was our postal league archery shoot and it was very difficult keeping the sight on the gold, wind kept blowing it off. It was also quite cool and the odd spot of rain. By evening it was heavy rain and last night it was really battering on the windows. Today has been dull and miserable all day. Some rain but also that fine misty rain that gets you very wet Looks like the weekend will b better which is good as I am doing archery both days, Saturday shooting, Sunday judging.
