Valkyrie
Gorgeous! Santa - or even Mrs Santa did well! Oh dear Ursula - this is probably one of those times when your French will get better by being thrown in at the deep end. I commiserate with your hubby - I've sneezed and put my back out years ago. I know the times when my back is playing up a little and have to brace myself when I sneeze - but there are always those times that catch you out! I do hope he is OK and feeling better and his temperature has dropped - and that the hospital trip wasn't necessary.
Ursula123
Thank you for your kind words, he back is better but his chest is still tight, I think another trip to the doctors on Tuesday. You are right Valkyrie my French does get better under pressure, and it has made me think that I really need to get to grips with it and try harder. Wishing you all a happy new year. Luvachicken
I'm glad his back is feeling a bit better. Do let us know how he gets on at the doctors if he goes today.
Valkyrie
Glad his back is better and hope all went well with the doc today. Happier new year with a bit of luck for you - and happy new year to all.
Plum
So many bugs around at the moment. Hope he's better. Happy New Year all and lots of happy crafting this year. Just remember to share it all with us
Valkyrie
Playing with the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. Not done much - I now like to see how things play out before I go too far. Especially as I've changed the colouring. I now need to change the sashing as it doesn't quite sit well with my colour choices. Watch this space so they say. In between I've been doing leaders and enders with the borders of a quilt started earlier last year. Then an Irish chain star which is supposed to be leaders and enders but mine are just bits not yet sewn together. Now in the middle of decorating our bathroom and DD's room at the same time. Glutton for punishment. My arm doesn't belong to me - it's packed it's bags and moved away!
Plum
Get your arm back you may need it! Ceilings that do it. What you need is my heat pad it worked a treat on my aching shoulder.
Valkyrie
Day's rest was good. Went walking up on the roof of Winchester Cathedral yesterday (awesome and recommend that tour) - it's the legs that ache now!

Cat tails
What is this swap that you talk about? *nosy* It’s a sort of secret santa. We all make/craft something for someone and send it without telling who send it. Loads of fun!

I am happy to join And Blackrocksrock and possibly GrannyTrish - although the rules say you have to be an Omlet member for 3 months. It's early ? Shall I organise one then ? Valkyrie
Beautifully done - I'll not join the Easter one - so much happening at the moment. Off on a retreat in March! Still decorating but the end is in sight. If I never see another tin of Dulux I'll not be upset about it! Just sorted out what I want to make so have been cutting fabric to prep. I need to practice with Molly, so I'll do a couple of blocks as samples beforehand so I have something to refer to apart from written instructions! I'm trying not to panic.
