susiepoos
Not sure if this is in the right bit - maybe it should be in 'celebrations' but I'm sure someone will come along and move it if necessary. Well 12 months ago today I had a meningioma removed - benign brain tumour - it was a terrible scary time but with fantastic care from the NHS, my wonderful family and Meningioma Mommas (a forum for people with brain tumours), I am here 12 months on to tell the story!!!!! I go for my check MRI scan today but I'm confident that I'll get a clean bill of health and 'Madge' as the tumour was referred to by my friends has well and truly gone never to return. Tonight I will open a bottle of fizz and toast the next 12 months and look forward to getting on with my life

Christian
All the best Sue! OH had a benign Pituitary gland tumour removed in January and had his MRI after six months with the all clear. He has another MRI in March, just to check. We are very confident that all is well. Scary times, but fingers crossed that Madge is no longer! thoughts are with you and keep smiling C x Edited November 13, 2007 by Guest
