My lovely lovely Grandad died last week at the tender age of 99. We always thought he would make it to 100 in August, but it wasn't meant to be. I don't think it's really sunk in yet as I've been busy consoling my children and organising his funeral with my mum. I'm sure the flood gates will open soon... Maybe after the funeral when my brain tells me it's ok to let go. I'm always a very emotional person and I've been dreading this for years as he's been a father figure since I've been little, but I just feel numb

I lost my dad in November, I just keep thinking how he'd want me to feel and what he'd what want me to do. It helps me because I know he wouldn't want me to sit around crying and would want me to live life to the full (not that I haven't done my fair share of crying mind you!).

 

I know how hard it is for you right now, pull together and suport each other and do nice things in his memory, so sorry for your loss xxxxx
