My job interview is at 9 am and I'm getting myself incredibly wound up I work in a school and it's for a full time (32.5 hours) TA job, the job I do now is very similar, but not the same, and is temporary. I work in a primary school as a TA, I have done my HLTA but there is no money to pay me as an HLTA and as I like the school I am in I don't want to move else where. laurmurf Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Internal interviews are the worst because it's so hard to play the interview 'game' when you feel like the interviewing panel know all about you! Women tend to underplay their abilities and achievements in interviews in any case and in internal ones they often downplay their strengths - my advice would be to 'big yourself up' and don't make assumptions that the head or other senior staff know just how good you are, tell them! best of luck!
