Chook n Boo Mum
Look what DH handed to me................. DD had given it to him yesterday.....after we'd both told her off about not getting homework finished on time( which is an extremely unusual occurrence for her it has to be said!). How bad did we feel ? (but very warm & fuzzy too ) Sha x

Chook n Boo Mum
I've got lots of post-it notes dotted around the house with declarations of love from both children, several for DH too....lovely to look at when you've had a disagreement !! She & her friend Polly have been away a lot this past 2 weeks (school residential trip & cub camp). When I emailed the pic to her mum, she said that P's been leaving letters, cards & post-its around all in the same theme! They are still very young (8&9) & our babies aren't they Sha x
craftyhunnypie
Ahhhhhh sweet. But careful - she's creeping! he he. A lovely momento for you both. Emma.x
Falkor
sorry...... but my first thought was what is she after!? Only because my mum has many a letter like that from me but I was very to the point "I love you mummy....can I have a new pair of tap shoes please?" That is such a lovely letter...one for the fridge
Chook n Boo Mum
the rest of Liz's comment was "Katie and Polly have obviously been taking lessons in parental creeping ", so far she hasn't asked for anything....... Sha x
chickencam
One of those better moments in the life of a parent. My ED has been telling us both how much she loves us a lot recently because we have been doing a lot to help her in one way and another. She knows how to make us melt but it is appreciated

Egluntyne
How lovely. Keep it to look at now and then when she is a teenager!
Ain't Nobody Here
How sweet, lucky you . I've never had a note like that (but then I have boys ). I picked up YS from 2 weeks away today. The first thing he said was .... "don't hug me, mum"
alih
Lovely! how old is your daughter? I keep reminding my teens of when they used to do things like that but they scoff and don't believe me...until I get out the proof!!

Chook n Boo Mum
Lovely! how old is your daughter? I keep reminding my teens of when they used to do things like that but they scoff and don't believe me...until I get out the proof!! She's 9 & had been away for the past 2 weekends for 2 nights each time and I've been away this weekend (she stayed with my mum & dad at our house), so I think she was feeling a bit "delicate" & wanted to say she missed us in her own little way! Some friends found the note on my camera when I was showing off my chooks - as you do!!! - and were all oooo-ey & aaaah-ey over it...their kids are all A-level age plus! bluekarin
awww thats lovely! My YD draws us pictures and tells us she loves us - usually when she's being told off for something or other She did however, write on our downstairs toilet wall, I hate you dad! I think he told her she couldn't do something she wanted to.
