Eurghhhh! Here I am munching some French bread and butter, wondering what Hugh has been up to. Thank you, now I can only visualise my bread topped with slugs - yuk, yuk, yuk! Although they can't be much different from snails can they? You won't have to fiddle with the shells. I have tried snails, but never again - revoltingly chewy. The garlic butter was nice though . . .

I apparently ate a slug as a very small child!! Mum tells me that she put her fingers down my throat to make me sick!

 

I can't eat any slimy food now, and I'm not that keen on stews or gravy!!!

I still havn't had chance to watch it but my dad took great pleasure in telling me all about it. When my auntie was little she lined up slugs and snails on her garden wall and took a bite out of each one My nanny and grampy only noticed when she was nearing the end of her line!

My ED ate an earwig as a baby and I thought that was bad

 

He did say afterwards that all the recipes were nice just leave out the slugs
