Lesley
We had snow most of yesterday which didn't settle but we have settled snow overnight. The road looks clear though.
Charlottechicken
We had snow from noon yesterday which didn't start sticking until about 4pm. After that it just got worse and overnight we have had aound 2 inches. It is melting now though as the sky is clear blue but my road is ridges of snow with ruts to drive in, and very slushy. More is forecast, along with low temperatures
ClaireG
Lots of snow here. Went to work with DH in London yesterday and came back to it all. No signs of any snow until we got to the Milton Keynes M1 junction. Awful drive from Northampton up the A43. Got to go down our road to find it shut, it has only been reopened in last hour. Tried to go round another way through local village, an artic had tried to go that way, realised itwasn't meant to/couldn't and got stuck. We were trapped behind a gritter and couldn't go forward or back till it moved. Luckily after many attempts it managed to turn round and we were able to get home another way. Several lorries and a coach were stranded overnight in the village.

Blackrocksrock
Snowed during night here too and tried on and off all morning but not much doing thankfully - still very slippy underfoot.
The Dogmother
Lovely photo of a grumpy Otis We had loads of snow yesterday, but very little stuck. Another inch last night, but it has mostly melted in the lovely sunshine we've had. I've had a couple of days off with Rosie for half term, and we've just been for a lovely walk with the hooond. Valkyrie
Ahhh cute doggy pic. Tis cold here - Murray just gone to get mum (and a takeaway don't tell Cookie) and frost on the car! Luckily no snow - but that lovely fire looks very inviting. I might just have to have Otis staring at me for a while as I pretend the fire is in here! Helly Welly
We've had more fat snow today, just as yesterdays had melted!!! I've really had enough now, we'd better have a decent summer after all this.
ali-s
Snowed for most of the day yesterday, about ankle deep. Driving home from work was not nice as the snow from the morning had frozen. I do hope it melts today but I doubt it as the temp here is -6c at the moment. There is still a pile of frozen snow in the carpark at work from the snow we had in December and January. Charlottechicken
There is still a pile of frozen snow in the carpark at work from the snow we had in December and January. Woke up to another couple of inches of snow, it looks like a foam party out there Thankfully the Friday snow had melted off the roads and pavements. Chickens refuse to free range in it, so it must be bad There's bird and squirrel tracks all over the garden. Not sure what the forecast is so must check to see if we are having more. Egluntyne
It has been snowing heavily here all night. There must be at least four inches, and no sign of any let up. No mention of this on the weather forecast yestersday. So I guess we should have expected it. Scuppers my plans for the day.
ClaireG
More snow here to. Road is okish at the moment. My parents are going on holiday early hours of Tues morning. Mum will not be happy if she can't get to Brum airport or if the runway is closed.

ClaireG
Our road is closed again Several cars in ditch in next village. Gritter now going backwards and forwards. The road has been closed further up than on Thursday. Hope they've cleared the cars and it's reopen by time DH comes home or heaven knows how he is going to get here. Blackrocksrock
Our snow is set to stay a while as it was minus 10.4 when I got up at 8am to let the girls out and the sun was up so presume it was worse than that in the night - it was cold last night anyway and really getting fed up of it but the sun on the frozen snow is just beautiful this morning and the trees are shining.
