the ear lobes are a good indication of the egg colour

white with a tint the egg will be the colour of the tint in my limited experiance of

one columbine-----one cream legbar------one gold legbar and------oneWyandotte

slight brown tint-------blue tint-----------------off white tint---------------white

milky coffee egg-------blue egg-------------white with hint of brown-----white

We went to see some 21 weeks today and are thinking of getting two next week - especially as there was a beautiful blue egg in the middle of their run!!! We liked the paler ones but maybe we should get the darker ones based on the theory of paler bringing paler eggs....

I think that's what we may do - a more creamy colour and a darker brown and that will contribute to a mini survey! Not the ones with the grey on though as nearly all of our current ones are a dark colour and we fancied some paler ones. There were about 12 of them today and they were all different! So sweet! Now if we could just see which one had dropped that beautiful blue egg.....
