craftyhunnypie
Ah wow Christian, I love it! It's very sort of Scandinavian, which I adore. It looks lovely & cozy. I've seen a gadget by Clover that makes sort of circular puff balls, that you join together to make quilts. It's not a yo yo maker, but I don't know what it was called. Couperwife
How big are the pockets Christian?, and how many pockets are in the quilt? I really like the idea of this Cathy X
Olly
It looks brilliant, and I'm so grateful you showed us this because it got me watching Wartime Farm, which I'd have missed otherwise! The pockets she was doing on there looked bigger than yours, I like the slightly smaller ones.
The Dogmother
Wartime Farm has been brilliant Olly, even I've been watching it.
Christian
How big are the pockets Christian?, and how many pockets are in the quilt? I made the pockets 8" by 8" - a rectangle 17" long, by 8.5 wide - right sides together and sew up the 'long' sides. Turn right way out, stuff and hand stitch the top closed. I have made it 6 x 6 so 36 in total (Get me, Carol Vorderman ) I might make it bigger if I have enough of the existing fabric with a few extra colours. Don't want it to be just new colours as that would love like I just whacked a few extra squares on, if that makes sense. I LOVE Wartime Farm. Such a shame it is only 8 episodes
The Dogmother
It's lovely to see some of the old equipment, which my grandfolks had on their small holding, and also the old kitchen stuff, some of which I've inherited. It's being aired at just the right time now that we're all faced with 'New Austerity'.
craftyhunnypie
Just big enough for you & Milo to snuggle under....forget Plum eh?! If it would fit a King sized bed though...well you know my address! Always love what you make Christian, always made to perfection & always has that Scandinavian look to it. Lovely! craftyhunnypie
My Cath Kidston Christmas Decorations Book / kit arrived today. It's lovely. Everything to make 12 decorations, all from 12 pieces of felt supplied, embroidery thread, mini pom poms & cord. They are very quirky. I can't wait to make a Stanley dog & a robin. They are very cute! Emma.x
