Maybe I'm just getting old, but that One Direction band are awful. The kids look like they ought to be in school, not singing on a stage. Some are better singers than other amongst them though. I find it hard to see why they're second favourite behind Matt with the bookies :shock:

Nice to see Cher get through a song without rapping :clap: So she can actually sing. Rebecca now needs to prove that she can do other styles, but she is consistently good. Paije was good, I love that song, but John was disappointing, I don't think that song shows anyone's voice off :?

I agree, still don't 'like' Cher though. Matt was very good tonight. I agree that One Direction weren't great tonight it was like watching a bunch of kids pretending to be pop stars. Teenage eye candy me thinks.

I agree. Nothing will distract from the fact that he is rubbish. It was an unpleasant gimmick.

 

I'm still not getting Aiden or Katie. They both sounded dreadful to me. He was off key and she was weak and ineffectual, and looked like a third class am dram member.

 

Much as I like Mary, she needs to buck her ideas up about remembering lyrics.

Yes sorry you are getting old -its an age thing :wink: - we have our thirteen year old neice staying with us and she is in love. Whilst I can't see it myself she thinks they are all gorgeous :roll: I'd imagine thats why they are second at the bookies cos the target audience are all at the age to be at home watching and voting

I didn't notice at the time as I tend to listen rather than watch, so looked on the X Factor website :shock::shock::shock: . I thought one had a wardrobe malfunction at the end of Wagner's erm, performance, but it turned out they all did :shock: It was all rather unnecessary :shameonu:

Really enjoyed Matt's song last night and funnily enough Cher's. Most of the others were so so and often a bit wobbly in parts.

 

I think they all need to start singing different songs as they do tend to stick to singing the same way - not just Mary but all of them.

 

Wagner needs to go as its getting a bit embarrassing now.

I think most of the girls are quite strong this year. Wish Cher would just try standing and singing as there's a good voice hidden behind all that make up and silly clothes!!

I really liked' Katie's song, a great take on a fab song! I'm getting tired of the Shirley Bassey tribute, oops sorry I mean Mary. She's a one trick act to me, she can belt out the standards, would love her to sing something more current to prove she can, otherwise she should go in my opinion. Same with Aiden, same act each week really.

Loved Matt, and Rebecca too. Not keen on the bands.

Wagner was awful. In previous years, he would have been the one everybody laughed at when they show the worst acts in the final programme!!

Louis Walsh makes my skin crawl, wish he'd go away!!! :wink:

Oh dear, poor old John forgot his words. He knew that he was done for when he finished. They should force Cheryl to sing live. I think it is wrong to have a mentor who mimes and gets so much backing. My kids thing Wagner getting though is hilarious and would vote for him if they were allowed to. All as a big joke. Unfortunately is has turned round and bitten Louis now as he has lost John :roll:

Whoa! Wagner is through...OMG. :shock: John was awful tonight - his image was a bit dated too. Nice guy, but bye bye. Tracey singing one night only was fantastic. Why oh why are the 2 groups still in? Both are very poor. I'm so glad Matt is through , his take on Britney was wow! - I hope he wins. I actually liked Cher & Katie this week too. I think Paije also needs to go. For a 19 year old, he looks awful & makes me cringe.

What will Wagner do next? Meatloaf? Barry White? Pavarotti? Oh my! :shock::wall:

Yes, well said. That's the only bit of tonight's result I can cope with. If Treyc had gone it would have been even more unfair.

 

Poor John, he wasn't the worst act this week by a long way.

 

Possibly 'I'm too Sexy' by Right said Fred!!

I can't understand why they mime the first song in the results show, as others have said surely they should be able to sing it live. And as for Miss Cole, well its a terrible song and I'm not sure if she was miming or had that autotuning thing going but it was awful.

 

Loved Michael Buble though. :D

 

Shame that John had to go before Wagner but he was instantly forgettable really.
