Baby - new pics

Lovely photos! - do make sure you have a duvet day today and have plenty of rest! It will all catch up with you if you do too much. Make the most of OH's paternity leave and let him look after you all...........the dust won't look any worse after a few days!

we have a baby that doesnt sleep! faulty! :o

 My last one had that condition, she didn't sleep for four years  For at least the first year she didn't sleep for more than 90 minutes at a time. It's a wonder she survived  Apparently I was just the same as a child, I cannot believe that is true

thanks folks :)

Midwife just been, other than getting scolded for putting a hat on her, we got the thumbs up and don't need to be seen til next week unless we want them.

Had a lie in this morning with babs as we both snoozed while hubby sorted the boy, and she did eventually sleep from half three til half seven solid anyways - clever girl. So not too tired today.

Got the hospital visit this afternoon for her official doctor's once-over but other than that we are having a nice relaxing day, hubby has without prompting made three brews (note to self, must get more decaf coffee now i'm drinking the stuff again!) and the young lady is lying happily in her crib looking round as if she is far too cute to ever have kept us all up all night! OK lil one, all your cries are forgiven.

and what a lovely day outside too!

Sadly yesterday Beaker our chamois poland boy passed on. He was son's chicken, and he is a bit upset about it, but hopefully he'll be ok after a little while. xxx

Lovely photos, you look so happy and relaxed. :D

Please make sure that once you have done the hospital visit that you rest, it will catch up with you especially as your milk comes in. Good idea with the taking it in turns.

There is nothing wrong with beans on toast and cereal to eat for a few days.

hehe, baby's check went fine at the docs (knew it would, she's quite clearly perfect :P ) and had a nice takeaway tea, a relax, and a long cuddle with babs just in her nappy and tucked inside my dressing gown.

Lovely. all is right in the world, and we're all refreshed in case of another colicky night. xxx

Happy for forum midwives to deliver mine - can't do a worse job than the last midwife I had ;) I'm now full of hope that second births are generally easier and I won't end up on the wrong end of a pair of forceps this time.

Home births are best for avoiding intervention. My first would have been a forceps delivery had I been in hospital (I think they like a quick turnover of beds) but as I was at home they let him grind his way out. (Big ouch)

Second births are a breeze after the first.
