Here you go then.

They are not great because the girls are a bit shy still, but I did my best.

I had forgotten how hard hens are to photograph !

The White Star, already a cheely little beggar (she escaped from the pen in the hen shop,so Hubby decided she was the one for us  ) is called TEAZEL

The Blue Belle is a buxom wench, who we have named VIOLET

The Calder ranger has a really long hooked beak. She is darker red with black tail feathers & is called RHUBARB

The Gold Line is the pretty pale red one with lots of white feathers,& the most bold. She is called BAY

Looks like you'll soon be getting eggs from Violet :D

Yep,hope so - Vi has a lovely well developed comb already :P

Oddly, for the biggest girl, she is by far the most shy & is always hiding in the Eglu :lol:

Awww, they're gorgeous, especially the Bluebelle. Mine's the friendliest of the two and bit of a favourite, just don't tell the Speckledy! My Bluebelle hasn't got a proper comb yet, so maybe too early to be waiting for eggs...

They are lovely girls and great photos too, they all look really healthy and quite well advanced, you should have eggs soon :D

We have a Goldline and a Bluebelle, Maddie The Goldline is the friendliest girl we have had and is into everything always nipping in the back door to eat the cat food at any opportunity, she is very similar to yours very pretty. Ghost our Bluebelle is a big scardy, she is by far the biggest and heaviest of the young girls, but she takes fright at everything and doesn't like being handled, she is bottom of the pecking order too.

We split the big hen pen today & now have the new girls in one half, the old girls in the other.

It was a bit of a feat of organisation really, as the new girls were in the Eglu we needed to move, but we got there in the end.

I have added extra security orange twine on the top of the seperator for the moment,as last time the old ones just flew over the top & got in the new ones half

In the photo, the new half is on the left, with their Eglu the other side & a hole cut into the seperator, just so they have a little more space.

The new girls 'half' butts up to the Bantam pen...you can see their pink Eglu in the background.

Peace reigns,for the moment
