Snow

Recommended Posts

No more snow here but clear as a bell and -5.6deg.

It's going to be icy tomorrow, thankfully my Yaktrax arrived today :D I am due to meet Lesley and Moochoo tomorrow morning in Stratford upon Avon for our twice monthly meet at the farmers' market - we've agreed to see what it's like in the morning. I really need to go though to collect a delivery of dog meat and bones :?

Has it got as far as Blackpool yet? - my sister is supposed to be coming down here for a few days on Monday.......by train.

Just down the road from Blackpool and it started at around 4.30pm and is still snowing.

Thanks Anne - I hope it doesn't become too bad, she slipped on ice on Jan 2nd, broke her leg in two places, had to have it pinned and is still unable to work.....she won't be able to come if it's too icy :?

Got up at 4am for work and snow was falling onto frozen ground. It is now -3 and snow falling thick and fast.

Couldn't get the car off the drive, so now need to write a groveling email to my Manager! Good news is OH is on his way to the airport in Copenhagen, so should be home this morning :D

Snow shovel at the ready!

Stay safe everyone.

I have some too that I am dying to wear :D

Snow is quite thick here and still snowing. OH has had to venture out to work and I have to take ES out to work this morning too :anxious: - both are unwell too. Just hope we can get everyone home again! Our village is a bit of a nightmare to get out of if the farmer doesn't get out early to clear the road.

Not sure whether to go in to work or not - it has been snowing since 6am,& we live in a hilly remote (ish) village.

Getting in should be fine,as its all downhill, but getting home, uphill, in the dark, on frozen snow doesn't sound too much like fun to me

Husband thinks it will be fun....I have to drive him back from the pub too

We've got ... Lots!! About 6" or more.

and a pain it is too; it's really pretty, but I have'nt done the Xmas shopping yet  (I've done most of it, but OH has a big fat 0)

the choox are singularly unimpressed, so it's snow shovels to the ready, everyone...

My DD was having her birthday party on Monday... Could be that's going to be in January now

Heavy snow falling in Abingdon. Started about 7ish ( coming up from you Cinnamon) and we've already had about 2inches. Pure breeds not happy, but my lovely ex-bats are playing in it! I put a snugglesafe in with the 3 little banties last night - but not sure what they think of it. I found them standing as far away as possible this morning looking very suspiciously at it! I've just re-heated it so maybe they can explore it in daylight!
