bigmommasally
I've just added a weather station to my list. I've been looking at these on Amazon. There are too many to choose from though . Which one have you chosen? This one, I thought the price was good and it mains/battery and comes with the outdoor sensor. (MiL is buying it for me so I've had to order it for her). It was done on a bit of a whim without investigating much so there may be better buys out there. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Weather-Station-Wireless-Advanced-Office/dp/B003040VBQ/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1292175383&sr=8-

craftyhunnypie
Oooo some secret box came this morning by Parcel Force & was quickly whipped away by hubby. I am so unbelievably nosey over stuff like this, but would never ruin a surprise. He just laughs at how much it kils me. I know he went in a wool shop in Aberystwyth as he mentio ed that they didn't have the 100% cotton yarn I wanted. Ahhh bless him. craftyhunnypie
A few slabs of beer maybe Lewis? I'd have thought that would be needed by every student. Hope you had a really nice birthday. Emma.x
Blackrocksrock
Well we went Aberystwyth on the train yesterday & hubby bought himself some waterproof ski suit type overalls for doing the chickens in. A good idea on these cold mornings. But that is what I was going to get him. Have offered to pay for them - but he won't accept. So still need to think what to get him. He says he needs no more clothes - he doesn't wear any jewellery - not even a watch. Oh & the only aftershave he'll wear is Body shop - which he has loads of.He has some new wellies - so doesn't need any more. Help! He loves technology, gadgets & outdoorsy stuff. Any ideas? P.S Don't know why a green cube has appeared in my post - he's not getting one of those! Emma.x I am hoping I have ordered in time for my hubby a wireless cam for the bumble bee house he is getting from dd- we have bumbles every year nesting and it would be fab to see inside for a change! Seagazer
We're not doing much for each other this year - been a very expensive last 6 months or so. We joked that we had 2 new tyres each for the car - lovely. I'm hoping for at least one little iddy charm for my bracelet. That would be lovely. Seagazer
I think my hubby was hoping I would have a replacement bread machine for Christmas until I pointed out that would be like giving him a hoover for Christmas. Really miss my bread maker but I don't want it as a present.
chickencam
I am funny I actually don't mind things like that for Christmas, If it makes my life easier it is fine by me. My Grandad and Uncle are buying us a Dualit hand held electric mixer I have had a couple of cheaper ones and they have all packed up very quickly. They bought us a 6 slot Dualit toaster for Christmas and birthdays combined last year, it is fab I can now make toast for 5 in one go OH offered me a Roomba this year, but we have decided that our house is too cluttered with rugs and furniture for it to cope. We are sticking to perfume and chocs for me aftershave and chocs for him and a couple of other little things.

Bramble
Dear Santa, Please can I have another eglu for Christmas? A Cube would be fabulous, but failing that a Classic or Go would be lovely too, or a walk in run, anything like that would be fab, but I'm too scared to ask you in person, wo I'm hoping that one of my Omlet buddies will pass this message on to you! Thank you Santa!

green
I've made a list on Amazon and told hubby that if he can't think of anything he might get some ideas there... I think this will be the best Christmas ever! I'm hoping to get some books about gardening/cooking/chickens and a pair of chicken wellies. The Dogmother
I haven't asked for anything - we're not big on presents at Christmas. Rosie and Phil are both strapped for cash, so have decided to give me 'time' this year - I will have a day between christmas and new year when they will do everything for me and I can do whatever I want. For someone who is poor in time, this is a wonderful idea, and I am delighted.
