Cinnamon
I found several clumps of Snowdrops in full bloom under my front hedge earlier. It cheered me up no end. And my Daffs are well on their way too - Spring must be around the corner!

Daphne
I only have one clump of snowdrops under a hedge, my SIL gave them to me from her field in France about 5 years ago, they are very slowly bulking up, but only about 3" high so far. I also planted about 100 mini daffs, crocus, iris, tulips and wallflowers in a new bed last autumn where I can see them from the house, although I see quite a few have fallen prey to the hens and the cats. If/when they all flower I'll be a very happy bunny! What a nice thread - good times indeed
craftyhunnypie
My narcissi & hyacynths are in bud - waiting to bloom! I love the flowers of Spring & the baby animals too. Emma.x
bluekarin
I have two clumps of snowdrops either side of my gate which I can see from the kitchen. I planted them about 5 years ago I think, and the patch has almost doubled in size. They are just poking their little white heads up now. The first bits of green came up during the recent snow and it was lovely seeing them trying to burst through. I am really ready for Spring and all her glory now
Ain't Nobody Here
Bit slow to get going up here, as usual but I have got 3-4cm of green peeking up in various parts of my new garden (I spent 2 days planting bulbs last Autumn so they'd better all make an appearance ). grracee
Yep, we got some snowdrops in the garden!
JillM
Oooops! I knew there was something I should have done a while ago.... If I plant the bulbs now will they survive until next spring do you think, or will I have thrown off their internal clocks I'll have a check this weekend to see if there are any bulbs showing their heads in the garden, in this part of Yorkshire, yet. ali-s
Nothing up here yet except muddy brown earth. Lost a few plants and shrubs as well with the extremely low temperatures.

chickencam
I saw some small snowdrops on a grass verge on my way to the dentists this morning, made my day because it was bitter today
Seagazer
I've noticed a lot of new growth in the garden. I can't wait to give it a proper tidy up. It does make you feel better knowing that despite all the snow etc the plants have survived and will soon be in flower.
Olly
I thought my snowdrops weren't out, but realised yesterday that they are, just hidden under long grass and bramble Now, if I didn't have chickens, I wouldn't notice them at all, because they are at the end of the garden and I probably wouldn't venture up there at this time of year! My jasmine has been flowering for weeks, viburnum tinus is going to burst into flower soon, and the willow has big fat buds on. It does lift the heart, doesn't it.
