welovemarmite
We got ours yesterday ......two copies to the same address, but different barcodes......why ?....DH was so happy to see them, he sat in the corner of the sofa huffing & puffing for at least half an hour ......then proceeded to right notes on how to calculate square roots all over one of the envelopes Do we have to fill in both copies do you think as they are different codes? That'll make him a very happy bunny it wasnt just me that got two then. I think we just need to do the one. Only ever done one before... Lewis
What is question 17 that only the Welsh can answer? A allwch ddeall, siarad, darllen neu ywgrifennu Cymraeg? Can you understand, speak, read or write Welsh? We have 2 copies too, but ones English + ones Welsh!
Seagazer
Oh dear, YS's teacher was telling the class about the last census and people listing their religion as Jedi! YS now wants this listed for his religion, ES apparently wants nudist put down as his. I don't think they're taking it seriously

Old Speckled Hen
Can you understand, speak, read or write Welsh? Ah thanks Lewis. I wonder if the online form will let you miss questions?
Cinnamon
I didn't get that question on my online one And on my paper census it says '17: This question is intentionally left blank
Old Speckled Hen
Which is why I wanted to know what it was. I heard on the evening news that it was for the Welsh forms where I presumed the question wasn't blank. It makes sense not having it on the online version

MummyHen
Ours arrived yesterday and I've already told my son that his girlfriend can't say over on 27th - that went down well (NOT) OH not sure what to put for occupation - last time he put Biscuit Designer! I will do it online - does it give you the option to Save it and go back to it later?
jackie45
We got ours yesterday but I suddenly thought that my father's house would get one. He died six weeks ago and the house is empty. Either my sister or I are likely to go to the house (a long way from both of us) but what should we do with the form, put it back in the post or destroy it? Lewis
English is a nationality Lesley Who's putting something to do with chickens as a religion?
Valkyrie
Am loving the Red Dwarf one! Might be tempted there. Well done Rhapsody - love the ingenuity of being a camel trainer! Last time I put some long line about being a conservationist and before that Pagan. My brother is apparently a Jedi Knight. OH's cousin gets so ratty about these things - how can anyone research their family tree in future with this nonsense? OH said he doesn't give a rats bottom because they want to know how much our earnings are and how much tax - if they want to know that, why don't they just get in touch with the tax office? It is so intrusive so a little bit of rebellion is on the cards. I said I don't care because I'll be dead in a hundred years and I'm sure there will also be records to advise that we all had a bit of fun filling in those parts. It will show our future descendants that we all had a sense of humour. And I am English.
Lesley
English is a nationality Lesley I know it is....but last time the only choice if you were English was to tick 'British' . I'm happy because this time I can tick English - I haven't even read the rest of the form yet.
Chucky Mama
Just finished mine online. I now have a good excuse not to have a house full of teenagers sleeping over on 27th
Ain't Nobody Here
No sign of ours yet . My 90 year old dad's form arrived at the nursing home though so I had to fill that one in. Good practice for mine, I suppose .
