Recommended Posts

I will be going to Waitrose first thing to do my weekend shop, coming home, unpacking it then I will be watching the 'do' for a while.

I have gone from being pretty blah about the whole thing,to actually becoming quite excited,& am looking forward to it now :D

I like Kate,I like her style & her naturalness,& I can't wait to see the frock 8)

I will be out and about doing chores but I will watch a section of the inevitable repeats on the news channel

I am interested to see it and I am happy that William is getting married to such a seemingly lovely girl I just dont want to plan my whole day around it :D

Weather permitting, a few of the neighbours will have an BBQ in the street, we have very wide grass verges so don't need to close the road, failing that DH and I shall go out for the day heading away from London! I'm not interested in the Wedding as I feel it's been overkill in the media & I'm fed up with hearing about it :(

I can't wait until Saturday though as I'm going to London to meet my best friend from primary school  We haven't seen each other since we were 11 years old  To be fair though we never had a telephone & her parents moved her to Wales

oh I'm going to be glued to the TV all day!!! and may well crack open some champagne rather early on...

not that I would go and camp out at the Abbey, or get the bunting out or anything, but I love all the ceremonial - the beautiful horses, the soldiers all dressed up, the chink of harnesses and spurs and the clop of hooves, the musicians, the wedding guests in their finery, London dressed up for the occasion, the crowds joining in the fun, the sentimentality of it all.

and it HAS to be the BBC; no one does a great occasion better than the beeb :D so bah humbug you non-enthusiasts! if I could find the pokey-tongue emoticon I would :P

I'm really excited about it and can't wait to watch it. I think they seem like a really sweet couple and I really hope that the day goes without any protests of any description.

Takes me back to Prince Charles and Diana's wedding. I worked to the side of St. Paul's and it felt nice just to be that close to all the preparations even if we weren't allowed in for the actual day.

I have my place booked on the sofa and I shall no doubt have a little drink to celebrate. :D

Same here, lots to do, so looking forward to the long weekend. We're also going to a friends' wedding on Saturday and we're really looking forward to that. So I guess that on Friday I will mainly be doing decorating with a brief break to watch the nuptials.

I'll be working (Boarding School) so the students still need their 3 meals plus snacks a day. A big outside BBQ is planned for lunchtime, I think we are catering for up to 800 or more  .

I don't think we are getting a day off in Leiu for the Wedding Bank Holiday :? to be honest I am not all that interested about it and if I did have a day off I would probably spend it out in the garden anyway.

OH has the day off so I have a list of things for him to do  DD also gets the day off School. DS will be at work with me.

We're taking the boys to see Shaun The Sheep - The Musical in the New Theatre, Cardiff. It starts at 2pm so we're planning on going in early & having lunch somewhere. :D

I suspect the telly won't even be turned on. I'm not really that bothered one way or the other about it. I do hope they have a lovely day though, and no protests spoil it.
