Missed Tuesdays as at work - didnt hear a warning but OH who worked for Radio 4 online said he doesnt remember any complaints.

Disturbed night - YS woke us in the night - he was sitting on our very small landing babbling away - he went back to bed and I went in to see if he was ok and he said "go away". :shock: he doesnt remember it. Kids

Then the story progressed to a couple snogging and more and the sound of slurpy sort of noises :shock: OH came in and announced he thought I was cleaning the toilet :roll: silly man needs his ears syringing - I never make those sort of nosies when cleaning the loo.

:lol::lol::lol:

Shocked today as OH informed me Pets at Home will be stocking cornsnakes soon. I am snake phobic - so lost a customer - I will no longer drool over little bunnies and OH will have to go and get cat food and chuck supplies. I cannot be anywhere near where I could meet a snake - what if one got out - it would make a beeline for me I just know it. Sorry to all you snakey lovers but I wish they would think this through.

Our Pets At Home always used to have snakes & lizards, although it might've been when it was a Petsmart :think: Learnt a few months ago that hubby's sister & her husband now have a corn snake, may not be so keen to visit them when we're next up in Yorkshire *shudder*. Amazed my SIL allowed him to have one to be honest as she tends to run screaming from spiders and things.

I wouldn't mind a tarantula, they look like really interesting pets. Look up 'Greenbottle blues' (or not, if you don't like spiders :anxious: ) I actually think they can be quite pretty, I love their colours :) .

One pet I could NEVER have, though, is any sort of frog or toad. I know it sounds really silly, but I am terrified of those. Sometimes they're okay if they're at least 50cm away, but I'm always really nervous that they're going to jump up into my face or something like that. :anxious: I don't like crickets/ grasshoppers or butterflies for the same reason.

If you think you have issues having one snake or lizard take a trip to the bottom of my garden.....snakes including a 10ft 5inch python :shock: lizards in their many forms including sailfins 3ft long :shock: and an incubator full of eggs!!!!! :roll: My ES and his partner are reptile nuts.

I can't sleep :( There is something moving about in the loft above the bedroom :shock: Not a mouse unless it is the hob nailed boot wearing non scratching variety. What else could it be? It sounds enormous :anxious: . If it is enormous how did it get into the loft :shock: .OH is away down South with DD and DS is out. I think I might have to sleep on the sofa in the living room with the light on.

Pigeon or a bird? :anxious:

Busy weekend for me!

Drove from Aber via home to Northants (with Kilo the lamb :lol: ) to meet Chuck + Boo Mum and collect my new (orange eglu) from Essex ... was a struggle to fit it in the BMW! ;)

Went to Tasha's to see the chooks and sheep - sheared Jessie and a couple of the others bums ready for lambing! Then to Brackley for a BHWT rehoming day on Sunday with Em + Anna!

Now back in Aber at the Uni farm with Nat, my brother, for the week :D

Still Lambing at the farm + waiting for someone to come + take over from me ... I'm at the Vets at 9 to see practice for the day!

It's our wedding anniversary today. 30 years and it's improved with time. YS gave us a card that says ' love doesn't die, it just falls asleep in front of the telly'. I have to say that the cartoon looks just like me and OH on any evening, except that we're not bears.

Pub lunch and Chinese in the evening, nothing fancy. We banned parties and are going to Trier later in the month as we didn't want to go during Easter Hols.

I had this a few years back - convinced myself it was a squirrel or something (they get into lofts around here) and it was?............Wasps!

Every one was wearing hob nailed boots I think!
