Totally agree. Last night I didn't feel I had seen the same dance as the judges . It felt to me as though they have been told to be kinder to her after previous criticism. Or, perhaps they are trying reverse psychology; if they are nice, people will stop trying to keep her in

I find Holly's dancing boring; she puts little emotion into it and doesn't seem to bond with Artem. I think that Robbie will go tonight, then it'll be between Alex and Holly next week.

What a great show last night, there wasn't really a bad dance amongst them. I think if I had to choose one person to leave it would be Robbie, but with Alex a close second. They're both good, but the rest are really good.

Am I the only person who didn't get on with some of the costumes last night? I couldn't take to Robbie and Ola's quickstep with her dressed in those trousers, I'd rather see a ballroom gown any day. And I found Pasha dressed as Shrek really offputting! It was a great dance, but I couldn't take my eyes off his big green head!!!

I don't know that Jason's tango was so good, I'll have to look again but at the time felt it was Christina's drama that made the impact.

I agree with Plum, I'm not sure that Jason's Tango was that good, it seemed to me to be Christina who was doing all the hard work...

 

Also Chelseeeeee's Pasa....I don't understand why it was so good did the judges see something we didn't? I thought she was fumbling with that fan and there were bits at the end when her arms were just dripping about and I thought she'd lost it....

 

I would like to see Holly stay and Chelsee go...Alex tries hard, but I do find I get easily distracted when she is dancing so I obviously don't find it that riveting....so I guess she'll go out as well....

 

Still pinning my hopes on Harry to win!!!

I loved Holly's Tango, and the judges raved about it. Then they all gave her 9s while Jason got 10s. I much preferred Holly's

I'm another who wasn't dead keen on Jason's tango. I too felt that it was Kristina's drama that made the impact rather than Jason's dancing. He seemed to do a lot of spinning in circles but not much else.

I really, really like Chelsee as a dancer, but again didn't understand the four 10s she got for her paso. It was good, but I don't think it was worthy of a perfect score.

Harry's viennese waltz was the dance of the night for me, it was simple, classy and gorgeous (I sound like Craig ). I also really liked Holly's modern charleston, but unfortunately she made too many mistakes.

I think Alex will go tonight but not sure whether Holly or Jason will go.

The right result tonight I think. That Paso was technically excellent and although Holly's Argentine was very good, her Charlston was pretty ropey. Didn't like Jason's Samba but i'm not a fan of that dance anyway.

 

Difficult to call the winner still though.

The audience, is there any need for all that "whooping"? Especially during the military wives - there was no need to have Vincent & Flavia dancing to them.

Quite agree about the dancing about the military wives...couldn't the BBC and everyone celebrated their beautiful singing without the dancing and noisy irritating clapping. They have come so far in such a short space of time and sing so beautifully.

I didn't mind Vincent and Flavia dancing to the military wives' choir, but I did really object to the noise made by the audience throughout the performance - very offputting for the ladies I am sure.

 

I was also underwhelmed by the showdance couple, it was really just a bloke flinging a woman around like a sack of spuds. I'm sure it takes a lot of strength and control to dance like that, but I didn't find it very watchable and was really quite bored by the end of it (maybe I'm a miserable grump though ).

 

Can't wait to see next week's show dances!

Yes they were on last year, I didn't enjoy the acrobatics at all. I love watching Vincent and Flavia though and the choir was so good.

Just been talking about the Show Dance Couple on another Forum I belong to...I thought they were 'a-ma-zing daaaling'

I thought they were amazing too, but what they were doing is not really dancing in my book. It was more like an Olympic gymnastic routine!

 

The best 3 dancers are in the final IMHO, though I doubt that Jason has a realistic chance of winning. I love both Chelsee and Harry, and either would be a deserving winner. I'm sorry to see Artem go, he is a great choreographer, and I loved his unusual Charleston routine.

 

Dreading the end of SCD, but have recorded the whole series to watch again on miserable winter evenings when the OH is not at home

I thought that Harry was the star, closely followedy Chelsee with Jason behind. I loved Holly's dances this week, but she wasn't quite good enough, although I agree that after the judges comments she should have got a couple of 10's for her first dance.I didn't actually feel that either Jason or Chelsee deserved perfect scores.

Well, what can I say? Hubby and I thought that we must have watched a different show to the judges. How could they give Jason and Chelsee 40 each when it was Kristina doing all the dancing in Jason's tango and Chelsee looked as if she stumbled a couple of times and as if she didn't quite know what she was doing. I didn't think it had as much power as Holly's previous paso. Really odd. Perhaps I'll have to watch them again.

 

I was also stunned that Craig didn't give Harry a 10 for his beautiful Viennese Waltz, it brought tears to my eyes.

 

I'd have loved to have seen Holly in the final, I wasn't sure about the Charleston although hubby loved it but I think that Artem is such a fantastic dancer and choreographer, his dances are always worth watching.

 

I also agree about the Military Wives, I hated the whooping and clapping during the song, totally wrong and disrespectful to the wives. I don't mind the dancing but the audience should have been quiet.

 

I'm glad Alex went, she had improved but was nowhere near the standard of the other contestants.

I find the 'american style clapping and whooping' VERY irritating.

 

Same goes for Aleesha and Chelseeee (although the latter is a surprisingly good dancer)

Just watched Jason's dance again. It is amazing but only because of Kristina. Jason does very little - what he does is in time and well done but the whole drama is down to Kristina. I don't think that Jason's part was a patch on Mark Ramprakash (will have to watch that one again to compare)

 

Kristina desaerved four 10's, Jason deserved 8's or 9's

 

Harry to win - please don't let him down on the choreography of the show dance Aliona!
