Those of you that know me well will know that my barred Wyandotte boys dont get names until they do well at shows

 

So this chap was hatched in 2011 and is only now filling out! He has won a second at the Federation show and a first (and best barred Wyandotte bantam) at the Welsh National today

 

So he needs a name - any ideas?

How about a traditional Welsh name because he took first place at the Welsh Nationals.

 

Arwyn means Fair/Handsom.

Dylan - Named after a Sea hero (apparently)

Rhodri - Named after a King

As he's popular in Wales and keeping on the afore mentioned theme, my suggestion is Ivor the Engine, that opens him up to Jones, Evans, Dai, Idris, Dinwiddy, Moukerjee, Charlie Banger, Ivor. (I have a thing for cartoon names as you can probably tell.)

YORATH, which is an Anglicized form of IORWERTH which apparently means "handsome lord" from Welsh ior "lord" and berth "handsome".

 

ALED, Means "offspring" in Welsh.
