Ain't Nobody Here Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 We were told today that a pupil in my class, who had been off school having a heart operation, died this morning. He was 13 and had just started at our special school. He was a lovely, cheerful and friendly boy who struggled with asthma and a congenital heart defect. His operation went successfully so it was a complete shock that he died from complications a few days later. Ain't Nobody Here Posted September 13, 2013 Author Share Posted September 13, 2013 I wasn't at work when my class were told but apparently they coped with the news remarkably well, asked appropriate questions and made sympathetic comments (not always easy for kids on the autistic spectrum).
