chuckmum6
Robin Williams has been found dead, a suspected suicide, aged 63. What a great loss and such a waste. Such a funny man.

The Dogmother
So very sad I know that he struggled with chronic depression, not helped by addiction, such a sad waste of talent and a bright star taken too soon.

Cinnamon
Very sad - he was an amazing actor. Has anyone ever seen a film of his called 'One Hour Photo', where he plays a man obsessed with a family, with chilling accuracy? Totally freaked me out in that role he did! So many great roles - super actor. He also had one of those faces that I just looked at & it made me smile

bluekarin
Such sad, sad news He was an amazing actor and loved pretty much all his roles. He seemed such a lovely person in real life too, just such a shame he had all those demons to battle with. RIP Mr Williams.
Chickendoodle
I think the expression "tortured genius" is very apt for him. Saw him on the Graham Norton show and he was very funny but had so much nervous energy it made for quite uncomfortable viewing. It was probably that very energy that gave him hes talent and his demons
soapdragon
Very sad.....its amazing how many genuinley funny people seem to be tormented too. When reading obits of those comedians there are often common threads of depression, alcohol and sad childhoods.

Alis girls
My ES 18 was very upset - he loved the Mrs Doubtfire film - I think we will get the Good Morning Vietnam one as never seen it. Great actor gone too soon - wonder if a cry for help that sadly went wrong - we will never know. RIP.

Lavenders_Blue
Such a sad loss. It seems there are so many who are outwardly funny, lively and hugely entertaining but inwardly battling their demons

Angie
It is very sad indeed. I read today in the news that he was also in the early stages of Parkinson's, perhaps the future seemed far too bleak for him. It is a very tortured mind that pushes a person to take their own lives. I am really sorry for his family .
