soapdragon
Have finally given in and bought a onesie! Basically because they were £6.99 in Lidl!!! However, one of us is an odd shape.....being biased I suspect the Onesie! I am not a shortie being 5 7' but the Onesie does rather hang down between the legs and would look better on a 6 foot suoermodel! Still, it was worth it for the hilarity that resulted from the rest of the family and its reasonably comfy
Ain't Nobody Here
Sounds to me like you're right on trend - isn't a low hanging crotch all the rage these days ? Any possibility of a photo? I think we need to join in the hilarity .
Charlottechicken
Do you think a low hanging crotch shot might be moderated? This is a family forum I agree, we need to see
soapdragon
Oh dear me, no! Couldn't bear to offend anyones sensibilities! Besides I have NO idea how to post pics Still, reasonably comfy so off to bed......Perhaps I'll get a size S rather then M if they still have them next week
Olly
I bought one last year, it's definitely nor for public viewing but I've never felt so warm and cosy - I was actually a little bit disappointed last year that it was such a mild winter, I didn't get to wear it much! patsylabrador
Slightly out of touch but I learned this week that females wear padded pants to enhance their derrieres. Like a bustle I suppose. Haven't women moved on from that? Compared to that onesies seem quite innocuous. On the subject of low-slung crotches, jeans worn by males under their bottoms really irritate me. Claireabella
On the subject of low-slung crotches, jeans worn by males under their bottoms really irritate me. Tell me about it! Is it just me or does anyone else get the urge to go and yank their jeans up?!
kissinuk
Compared to that onesies seem quite innocuous. Unless they are of the "drop seat" variety! I, er, may own one of these (but not a drop-seat)... http://www.jumpinjammerz.com/kiss-footed-pajamas.html
The Dogmother
On the subject of low-slung crotches, jeans worn by males under their bottoms really irritate me. Tell me about it! Is it just me or does anyone else get the urge to go and yank their jeans up?! Me too Rosie has one, but I could NOT be encouraged to wear a onesie. Besides, your top half would get very cold when you went to the loo.
Egluntyne
Eek. That's all!
soapdragon
When we were on holiday last year we had lunch in a pub and were served by a young chap with..um...low slung jeans and I am afraid that, in the end, I asked him to pull them up (it was really getting to me!) Has anyone else bought clothes from Lidl? Apparently their work wear is really good but sizing in general a bit hit and miss!
Charlottechicken
Has anyone else bought clothes from Lidl? Apparently their work wear is really good but sizing in general a bit hit and miss! That's the reason I've never bought clothing from Lidl. Everything is packaged so you can't see the size. Mum has bought footwear, which is always loose so you can try on, and I've noticed recently they have been selling XXL mens tops. I really wanted to get some for OH but sizes vary so much, and as the bags are sealed I wouldn't take a chance
Valkyrie
I have always thought it sounds a nice idea to keep warm or even lounge about in, but most don't seem to have a trap door, so you would get cold when you needed the loo because you have to undo it all and disrobe to expose the derriere to the loo seat! Sooooo if that was the case then maybe the pants to enhance skinny botties are probably Tena Lady stuck to them from the night before. Just saying . . . Oooh but then there's the Shewee! I think I'll stick to pyjamas! And why oh why oh why does anyone need a botty enhancer? My botty is more than enhanced! I don't like it. I'd rather have legs that go all the way up and no botty! Am working on that - it's firm and no wobbling, legs are a bit flabby. Definitely not a good look.
Cinnamon
I tried one on once. I looked like a Weeble.
Louise
I will have that image for the rest of the day now
Alis girls
They used to be called all in one pyjamas - I had some as a child. Only prob is the loo - your top half gets chilly if you have to spend a penny - now a days they probably have a press stud for easy access. My 6 ft 1 son has one his ex g/f got him - he looks like a big cheetah in it street cred goes well down the pan. Personally I dont like them I feel trapped. soapdragon
Yes, the loo trip thing is a prob but I do like wearing mine in bed as there is no 'ride up' from pj tops so you do stay cosy - tho Cinnamon made me laugh with the Weeble comparison. Mind you, as the slogan went 'Weebles wobble but they don't fall down' sums me up a treat
Valkyrie
That tune is rattling round my head now! And as I keep getting the middle age heat sessions in the night it's basically down to knickers only. Now that makes me more like a Sumo wrestler - er sorry for putting you off your dinners!
