The Dogmother Posted January 2, 2018 Share Posted January 2, 2018 Earlier today I thought we were going to miss the storms - it was still and dark most of the day, with a deathly dampness in the air. Â Well, it's started - the wind is howling across the chimneys, not too bad at the moment. And the rain is crashing down outside, the water table is already up to the limit, so there will be a lot of surface water and flooding in the morning if this keeps up! Â There were a few trees down, and lots of branches scattered about when I drove into Oxford this morning.
