The Weather Thread #9

Recommended Posts

Mild and dry this morning. Hope it stays that was as I have the day off, and loads of wood to chainsaw.

Hope the bikini weather held out so you could use the chainsaw ;)

:lol::lol: it wasn't THAT mild :shock::roll:

I see some blue sky above this morning and it's breezy and cooler than yesterday.

Showers due later though so it won't last, and the end of the week looks grim :(

It actually got light here this morning and it is still light  I will need my sunglasses at this rate

I have no problem with winter so long as it at least gets light for the few hours that it is meant too, it has been so dark recently.

Me too. Just got back from a walk with the dogs; lovely and sunny, and I got quite hot.

Off out to organise the new shed with some shelves and attack the woodpile!

Much colder here too.

We've had a mix of windy, wet days and some sunny spells but it's been so mild.

I hadn't heard that it was going to got colder before Christmas. It would be nice to have some seasonal weather.

After a fairly pleasant weekend, it hardly got light today.

Constant drizzle and deep gloom. Looks like more of the same for the next couple of days...

Desperate for some cold & crisp!

Blimey! Snow! Just dull and dismal and damp. A bit of rain just for good measure. So I have for the past two days been yelling at the sky saying what use is blue sky now when the sun's gone down!!! It would be nice to have a little more sun otherwise I'll be hitting the vitamin D tablets!

The mowers were out in force in our little hamlet too this weekend. It's a strange noise to hear in December!

No let up in the drizzle today and felt quite dark at 4pm.

Murky again. Went to see my mum this morning and couldn't even see Salisbury Plain! Heavy rain this evening.

Amazing isn't it. Clocked up 19 degrees outside the shops today! But once off the tarmac it cooled down to 15! We've even seen sunshine. Walking down the bottom of the garden is better and not squelching at the moment. Turned a bit dull now but hey ho not too bad - not complaining today anyway!!

Raining here too. There's an alert out the asthmatics regarding a saharan dust storm causing atmospheric problems..... 'I'm dreaming of a beige krissmuss, just like the ones in Mo...ro...cco....'
