Jules.
I have to confess to cleaning my oven once in the 8 years we have lived here. The oven was left in the house by the previous owner.

missuscluck
The glass started to come out of our old oven door every time I cleaned it as the sealer had gone, so we had to leave it mucky to hold the door together as it was only the dirt holding it together. Saved a job anyway Had to get a new cooker just before xmas as the fan went on it too and it was uneconomical to repair. I am trying really hard to keep the inside of the door clean this time. Hob brite is ACE!!

Blackrocksrock
The best use of the steamer can be blasting the fins of the radiators and see the dust fly - its amazing you wont believe the mess and keeping the cooker glass clean is great with the s"Ooops, word censored!"er for the ceramic hob as well as hob brite. Ain't Nobody Here
Egluntine, next time you buy something new, think very hard and very carefully before recommending it to us sheep, sorry Omleteers . You obviously have the power to singlehandedly bring down the retail trade .
AnnieP
No, she should just invest in a few shares in the company before telling us all....
Ain't Nobody Here
And warn us all first of course! From "Spring cleaning" thread: Aha, I've worked it out (I'm a bit slow, I know ). The esteemed (geddit?) steamer has inveigled its way into two different threads hence my confusion over a post I thought I'd made Another monster is being created (OED being the other, obviously ). feemcg
John Lewis out of stock now! I saw an Amazon review and it said the product should come with more information including why it comes on automatically during the night - what does that mean?
