Lapinou
Definitely holiday entertainment! My children *love* cleaning - they're just not very good at it so can't really use it as child labour

Lesley
Oh, blatant child labour of course - and I'm all for it Top of my list for Tuesday is to clear one of the bedrooms.......followed by cooking of their choice, for Lauren and Jake They are earning money for their holiday so it should all go well and with smiley faces

Ain't Nobody Here
What great kids . Can I have them when you're finished with them? I spent 3 hours cleaning ES's room yesterday (if I wait for him to do it properly, he'll have left home ). I found enough fur to make a new dog . Fur 'n' Feathers
I remember my younger brother and me collecting dressmaking pins for my mum when she'd been sewing. We used to get an old penny for every 4 pins. Needless to say that we raided the pincushion when she wasn't looking, but we always suspected she knew and paid up with a smile - Feathers. Guest
Blatent child labour, but during the holidays, i think it's ok... We were off at a Haven holiday a couple of weeks ago (DO NOT go to Haggerston Castle - you've been warned.... ), and Caitlin had a fantastic time, going horse riding every day. They even had a kids club at the pony trekking centre, where you paid them £15 a day, and they very kindly let your child muck out the stables, brush down the horses, clean the tack etc. Caitlin was in her element, and my wallet was very quickly relieved of quite a lot of cash..
