She is part of the design team for the local craft shop - which leads to random people recognising me in the street because her designs are displayed in the shop, and some of them have photos of me.. anyway - she has started being invited to design for some of the magazines, most recently DoCrafts Creativity (incidentally, a magazine she wouldn't usually buy cos she doesn't like much that's in it..) they send you a kit and tell you what you have to make from it - she was asked to make a box and a card with a cat theme (again - something she wouldn't normally do!) anyway... here is a link to the "vote for this month's designer" page http://www.docrafts.co.uk/asp/poll/?id=33 she is the middle one. of course i wouldn't dream of asking you all to vote for Lythan - just for the best one (which is the middle one!) for those interested - you'll find her crafting blog here http://slightlysquiffy.blogspot.com/ and some of her serious s"Ooops, word censored!"booking here: http://saltfaithchallenge.blogspot.com/ (a bi-monthly "challenge" where they produce s"Ooops, word censored!"-pages according to a theme...)
