We're staying in, my parents are coming over and we're going to eat curry and nibbles and consume some alcoholic beverages! :D

I'm not a fan of going out on New Year's Eve unless it is to a friend's house or a nice local pub. I doubt I'll last till midnight as Bogwoppit got me up at 5am

Hope you all have a lovely evening 8)

I usually go to bed before midnight, not a drinking and party person, but I'm watching a few items of jewellery on ebay so I may be up all night buying diamonds

ooohhh :D:D:D

Actually, I've just looked and all the diamond rings I was watching have gone way above what I was willing to pay (£20 limit :D ), so I may be up all night bidding on other gold rings instead. Oh well, it's a nice way to while away the hours :D

Have fed boys and have salmon for "our" dinner. Have already started a nice chardonnay :shh: . OH working so up early again tomorrow - boys seem to think they will see midnight, but at 8 and 9yrs we will see - is it illegal to get them to put themselves to bed :anxious:

Have a great Hogmanay all - I used to really love New Year, but since moving South it has waned a little, probably because I also have children now :think:

Good health and prosperity to all Omleteers in 2010

We're off to a house party with loads of mates, around 50 people. Usually this is one of my favourite nights of the year (celebrating the end of Christmas !!!!).

Racing at Cheltenham tomorrow.

The Brat is going to a fancy dress party, the dress code is "anyone/thing with the same initials as you". Thought that was a good idea.

We don't like New Year celebrations so we'll be staying in as usual - just the two of us and two dogs. We usually watch Jools but may be Graham Norton tonight....and then the fireworks......

We've had a pretty rubbish year so will be hoping for a better 2010 :D

I will be snuggled up in my Slanket :D

For the first time for many years OH and I are on our own except for the dogs. DS has gone to his girlfriends and DD is with her children at a friends, so OH and I are planning a quiet night in front of the tv with nibbles and drinks, oh and some chocolate, that can't be too bad can it :?: but a bit sad that the children have now grown up :?

I hope all the the omleteers have a great new year and that all your wishes come to true.

Chrissie xx

mum came round for dinner, i didn't want her to be on her own tonight; i made vichyssoise, followed by roast beef, stuffing, yorkshire pud, roast spuds, parsnips, sprouts and gravy followed by home made apple pie and custard. Just chilling now with a nice glass of fizz and looking forward to relaxing for the evening :D
