Light Sussex

YAY! we've had our second First Egg! Did the dance 3 years since I last did that.

 

I forgot how cute the eggs are early on. It's small and perfectly formed like a banty egg.

 

It was one of the Light Sussex's, I caught her leaving the scene.

 

The newbies are

 

2 Light Sussex - pure breed.

2 Copper Blacks.

2 CouCous.

 

The are all of a lovely temperament and as yet unnamed.

 

The Copper Blacks and the CouCou's lay distinctive coloured eggs, dark brown I think so I am looking forward to collecting those. Multi-coloured eggs again. Yay

 

There is a bit of argy bargy going on. Bubble (head girl) is squawking her lungs out all the time. She reminds me of that annoying gadgy from the infamous Go Compare Advert.

 

The new girls are sticking to high ground to stay out of trouble and there is food and water at both levels so hopefully we won't get any carnage and they will settle down quickly
