sadietoo
I love your painted glass Purple Tree...I always get in a sticky mess as soon as paint is involved I'm still catching up with a load of knitting requests. The last for my DS was a "cool hat" Ravelry came to the rescue and although I don't have a photo of it in situ, apparently it is much admired at college. The pattern is "Wurm" and I followed it exactly. It's good and slouchy... oh and very easy or I wouldn't have coped with it

Christian
I forgot to post pictures of the patchwork quilt i made for my Mum's birthday last month. It was supposed to be a lap quilt, but ended up massive, so will cover a double bed http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mdwodzWeTi0/TRya7HEPiFI/AAAAAAAABPM/TsGx_0Xegvk/s1600/QUILTFRONT.JPG http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mdwodzWeTi0/TRycGPn_ysI/AAAAAAAABPU/TXkilcDs1A4/s1600/QUILTBACK.JPG It is my no means perfect and I liked the idea of quilting in tramlines at the time, but it was so fiddly and took my hours to do! Mum loved it though and it is kept in the lounge on the sofa (unless she gets it out every time I visit )
PurpleTree
Thanks glad you like the hanging I really like your painted glass. I had a go at making some with Snowy and the mob when we met up for Omletstock 3. Mine was a bit of a mess but keep meaning to have another go. How did you get the idea about how to decorate the button jar. It's very effective. My friend mentioned a button jar, she thought it would be popular if I ever got my online shop up & running (she's a knitter & crochet genius, she also hand dyes yarn, so she knows these things ). While we were chatting it dawned on me that buttons come in all sorts of shapes & sizes. Then I thought I'd put 'buttons' on it, so there would be no doubt what they were meant to be or what the jar is meant to be for Glad you like
sadietoo
I'm loving that quilt Christian, and if I'd had it for a present, I would certainly have it on display at all times..it's wonderful and must have taken hours

I couldn't resist the ribbon that came off my daughter's Lush gift set. She is delighted that I've used it on the back of the cushions.

AJuff
I'm feeling very crafty at the moment so I've been busy crocheting a dishcloth today which was finished in no time. I've also taken up a pair of work trousers I bought back in October! I've one or two more Christmas bits and bobs to finish then I'm starting knitting a love bod!
