Well, I have to say I have been against Cher, but tonight..... Wow.....what a performance

 

On the other hand, I have never seen anything so camp in my life as Diva Viva

 

 

Cher was good ........ but nothing beats a bit of camp

I thought that Cher was rubbish.She can rap but can't sing. I think that she has pulled the wool over our eyes and is as hard as nails. I thought Paij was great and Mary was awesome. Don't really like Diva Fever but they were very good too (even though only 1 sang).

I disagree I dont think any 16/17 year old could be as hard as nails. I thought she was great. LOVED Matt and Aiden, thought Paige was great and John was good but the song let him down as he is better than that. Mary was just brilliant.. go girl!

 

Wagner was pants, as was Diva Fever.. sorry to those who like them.

Only one of them seemed to do anything last night. The smaller one. The other just pranced about and bellowed 'Sunny' into his microphone a couple of times.

Katie looked ridiculous. What on earth was that on her head. it looked like a security man's helmet that had been decorated with her gran's necklace and a couple of s"Ooops, word censored!"s of fabric.

I think the competition is much stronger this year than in previous years. I was really impressed by a lot of them.

Thought Cher did ok, but I just don't like rapping, so it didn't appeal to me. I thought Katie did a good job considering all of the stuff in the press. Aidan was amazing, Paije fabulous, Rebecca and Treyc (ridiculous spelling!!)

 

Think Wagner is bonkers, just can't understand him getting through, if you look back at previous series, he's the type who would be in the final show, when they show all the ridiculous entries from the auditions and they sing together!!!

 

I just hope people genuinely vote for who they thought was best rather than any kind of tactical voting. I'd be hard pressed to choose!

I love Matt. love him to bits. but i think that hat will start to annoy me after a while...

 

not as much as katie's hat though. and annoying as she is, fair play, she did a good job with her song.

 

but the star of the night was Mary. she belted it out and i thought she sang better than she did at any of her auditiobns. and she looked amazing.

He actually reminds me of my brother!! Although my brother doesn't have the long hair and earrings also Wagner smiles more than my brother. He was bad but I did enjoy it, a bit along the lines of Anne Widdecombe.

 

Not sure about Cher, how will she manage singing different types of songs? The Sade looking girl had the wrong song I thought for her voice. Loved Treyc, Matt and especially Aiden who sang one of my favourite songs of all time. He performed it so well. Enjoyed Paij as well although didn't particularly like his jacket. I like Katie's voice but didn't enjoy the song or performance that she gave. Mary did a great performance, had tears in our eyes.

 

Disco Diva, well, what can I say. The one with the purple t shirt on seemed to have an okay voice. Not quiet sure what the other one brings to the group though.

 

Hubby got annoyed with all the bickering between them last night, mainly from Simon and Louis. I always think that Danni talks a lot of sense and obviously we can't say a word against Cheryl as she is beloved by my DD and ES.

Wagner was a scream but I had to hide the phone to stop the kids voting for him I thought it was the wrong song for Rebecca too. Was disappointed with the girl group, there is a stronger singer that should have taken the lead. The boy group weren't great either although there is a really strong confident singer in there who stood out for me (not the comeback kid, one of the other fair haired boys). I wouldn't be surprised to see the Italian chap could be in a bit of trouble tonight. Too many are thinking too much of their image.

I love Diva Fever - pure entertainment & they are such sweeties.

I thought Aiden was really good - he is so shy, it's a real shame for him & makes him feel awkward. Ahhh.

I loved Mary's performance & for a larger lady, I thought she looked beautiful. She is just great.

Matt is still my favourite. I love the way he thanks people - hands together. That is a Thai thing.

I don't like Cher - she reminds me of Katie Price!

I had 50p @ 8/1 for Nicolo to be the first to go. He really did lack charisma on the stage. I think he deserved to go. Fingers crossed for Katie to go too

Check that with your bookies. The double eviction wasn't made official until the show was on last night. Up until that point the bookies I manage had been taking bets on the first eviction on the basis that if a double eviction was later announced all bets were void. Today we did have a new market formed though. One of my punters backed Nicolo to go first too, but before yesterdays show, so he gets his money back. I'm annoyed on his behalf though, because his bet was before the wildcards were made official too. It's like having a bet on a horse then later on in the day new horses being added to the race, pushing your horses odds out, and if you knew the new horses were being added you might not have chosen your particular one. It was really silly and greedy of the bookies to take bets on it in the first place especially as they knew there was a good chance the bets were void.

 

I contemplated backing Bell Amie to go first but decided not to. Money saved!

Thank Griffin but I am OK, they changed the conditions so that it had to be the first person named. They have paid out, I did sweat a bit though when they announced the double eviction.

I have never watched X Factor before, but we decided to have a doss in front of the TV night, with Strictly then X Factor.

 

We loved Aiden and Matt and I thought Mary was fab, but OH said that she is too old to take the opportunity to career level (men )

 

I thought that Katie was terrible on Saturday, but she came back with a bang and deserved to be saved on Sunday.
