Blackrocksrock
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo . Please let's have Christmas in December . I agree its much much too soon for xmas time - I saw the chcolates in the local shops today and thought OMG its awfully early. Lets leave xmas till end November time and then its fun to get organised and not have to try and remember where you put the presents you bought in september!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cinnamon
Bah Humbug! I actually prefer the run up to the main event - its the anticipation I think. And if it was strictly left until November, the shops would be HEAVING because all of us organised people who like to shop early & get finished early wouldn't be able to I love just picking up little bits & pieces now,& I do have somewhere very safe to hide them all,so long as I remember to put them in there straight away
..lay a little egg for me
I know I ought to start thinking about Christmas presents earlier than I usually do, but I just can't bring myself to do it in September (or even October). Griffin
I think I'll have a browse through those two links in the morning after the horrors have gone to school. I don't start Christmas shopping until after daughter number threes birthday and that's tomorrow We've already decided what to do over Christmas and where we're spending it, we're being anti-social and not going anywhere or seeing anyone

Space Chick
My Christmas savings come out on the 24th October every year, then and only then will I start contemplating the festive season Although I do like to have bought everything by Dec 1st, so I can enjoying walking around the shops in December people watching, rather than panicking over what to buy
Egluntyne
I've quite taken myself by surprise by having already made a start on my Christmas shopping.... via Amazon of course. I like to have it out of the way by 1st Dec if I can. I hate writing cards and tend to put that off. I sent as many ecards as I could last year, to save money, and the planet. Griffin
Order already placed with Boots I'll wait for M&S to start their 3for2 offers on the stocking fillers before shopping there though. Mr Griffin can't understand why I'm starting shopping so soon With four daughters that's a lot of shopping and wrapping to do!
chickencam
We have 3 family birthdays to sort out before Christmas, but we do have a couple of things squirreled away already. I am more excited than normal about Christmas, they were doing the calender photos on Countryfile last night. I will vote for the sheep
bluekarin
they were doing the calender photos on Countryfile last night. I will vote for the sheep OMG there are some gorgeous photos on there. The sheep one is excellent, and even though I don't like them, I really like the spider one. I also liked 'Huffin Puffin', 'Mountain High' & 'In the Balance'
Calamity Jane
I can never afford Christmas, too many people to buy for. So I always keep an eye out for bargains throughout the year. Last year I was especially good and had almost all my pressies early - unfortunately I forgot where I had put half of them I had hidden them too cleverly. Must remember to buy myself a notebook to write everything down in.
chickencam
I have a present cupboard and everytime we find something in it goes, it has to have a strict sort out about now so that everything fits, but it works well. We went to Bath on Saturday and have decided to go back in a few weeks for some proper Christmas shopping. I hadn't been for years and it is lovely full of individual shops and the usual chains.
