Sorry i've not been online. I've been in hospital On the 17th Dec i went to see the nurse with what i thought might be a chest infection. She gave me a prescription for anti biotics and i went home. Two hours later i could barely breath and phoned nhs direct who sent an ambulance I was put on oxygen and stayed on it 24/7 for 3 days. I also had all sorts of drips etc including insulin and iv antibiotics. I've had pneumonia in my left lung and this

I discharged myself christmas eve. Was being told two diffrent things by two diffrent consultants and wanted to be with my family for christmas. I have been at my parents since christmas eve. I'm going home tonight as have a Drs appointment in the morning.

Have been to the Dr this morning. He was lovely and said he would have discharged himself to

I have to double my dose of blood pressure meds. I have a monitor to check my own blood sugar levels and had to go to our diagnostic centre for bloods. I have to make an appointment for the diabetic nurse for next week. My blood sugar is still much to high so it looks like i may either need a new injectible diabetic drug or insulin. Not sure how i'll be with injecting myself but ....if needs must then so be it.

Ooooh! not nice Claire! - I don't think I'd be much good at injecting myself either I hope it's settled a bit before your appt. next week and it may not come to that.

eeek but you'll manage. When I worked on peadiatrics I let the kids and parents inject me with water. Shall I pop over No way I'm a big coward nowdays.
