chuckmum6
Wow strange wet stuff falling from the sky I haven't seen that in a while! The rain fall was so heavy and noisy it woke me up, and now of course I can't get back to sleep, hence this post! The garden sooo needs rain and now maybe the grass the girls have wrecked may recover - well here's hoping!
Chook n Boo Mum
It rained a bit here too, though that didn't wake me, the door slamming because the wind had got up did that at about 5 this morning Sha x
Snowy
I heard the rain about 3am - really heavy, great! But when I got up and went outside, no sign of it! Everywhere is so dry it's either sunk in or dried up already!
Lesley
Same here - woken at 3am Shame it's going to be a blustery and showery day as we need to check through the bee hives today. At least the last patch of weeds should come up now!
BeckyBoo
I was woken by the rain at 5.30 ish too, then just as I was about to drift back off the sudden realisation that I'd left the sun-roof open on the car hit me! So that was me in my jimjams, in the rain, out the front shutting it - bit late, think the kids might get wet bottoms later! chickencam
We were woken at 2.30am by heavy rain, but it only lasted for about 15 minutes and by morning you would never know that it had happened. We still had to get the hose out to water the French Beans that we had planted out yesterday, the wind had really dried them out and given them a battering
dancing cloud
Rain? Wet stuff falling from the sky? Surely that's just an urban myth ? My garden's drier than the Saharah and we're still waiting for a bit of that wet stuff ...

The Dogmother
Well, I woke up to drizzle, which stopped. It's now raining pretty steadily and for once I'm happy to dry the washing in the dryer rather than outside. Goodness knows we need this rain... the crops are well behind and the ground is parched and cracked.
