Seagazer
Forgot to weigh myself this morning so shall do it tomorrow. Not expecting to have lost anything. Didn't do much extra exercising in the last few days and had an evening out with gorgeous food, only good thing was that it was miniscule portions. Can't say the same about the wine though..... Reikiranf
Did the Leslie Sansone walking dvd a couple of times last week, and have just done 40 mins Zumba, dreading weigh in tomorrow as have IBS flare up at the mo, and I'm so bloated all over I can't even get my rings off & they were rattling last week I've not been bad foodwise & have stayed within my allowance, but feel fed up as if I manage to lose 2lb this week I'd have hit my first stone & it doesn't look like it's going to happen! Seagazer
Oh chin up Reiki, you'll get there, I know you will. Well done for doing all the exercise. I was not very good at keeping up with the exercising last week. I've put on a pound and I've hurt my back picking up my kayak at the lake on Saturday (must remember to bend my knees )
Reikiranf
I know I'll get there Seagazer, just a bit down as had a stressful time lately I hope your back's better soon, I know you probably don't want to but.......... use an ice pack on it Although heat feels soothing it can actually increase any inflammation
Seagazer
Thank you Reiki. You've done brilliantly if you're nearly up to a stone lost. Fab! We'll have to meet up soon and have a skinny coffee and salad!

soapdragon
Everyone is doing so well; I love this thread! Collected the rowing machine last Thursday - probably used up 200 or so calories getting the damn thing in the car; wow is it heavy ! Now doing 2 lots of 10 mins on that per day and 10 min basic step on the Wii and may try to cut a row session and put in an extra step from time to time and see how the hip reacts. OH got on it for the first time and promptly fell off as the seat shot back; couldn't help laughing as he lay there on his back saying that it was supposed to get him fit, not land him in A&E! I was only joking when I said that the rowing machine would make a great coffee table but....... it is still sitting in the sitting room as we have decided that having to walk past it constantly means we are both more likely to use it; if we had to make the effort to get it out from wherever then we probably wouldn't bother . Would be nice to see a corresponding drop in weight tho Don't know how long these good intentions will all last!
Purplemaniacs
I have made a start, a bit late I know Quite pleased as the Wii tells me I have not put on any weight since I last went on it about 6 months ago Today I have done 30 minutes on Wii fit and I am trying to eat healthier Chrissie

Purplemaniacs
It's never too late Purplemaniacs! Well done Thank you I will try to do some more this week but fitting work, studying with OU and various meetings in makes it difficult to find the time. lillybettybabs
Spent yesterday stomping around a trade fair so i guess i burned some calories off. I'm booked in to Body pump tonight but my glands in my neck are swollen and i feel a bit groggy so i'll have to see. I always become ill after going into the doctors, must start using the online prescription service.
LolaLayla
Everything has gone a bit pear shaped on the losing weight front It really all started with a box of chocolates a week ago and has descended since then). I weighed myself and I am either the same or have put on 2lbs ......I hate my scales On a positive note I have lost at least 2lbs since the start of this. I really must pull myself together I know what needs to be done. Off to badminton later.
The Dogmother
I skipped circuits on Monday night; felt rubbish and very tired so got an early night instead. Last night was bad though - I discovered some rather nice cheese at the back of the fridge and scoffed it Back on track today though - bowl of porridge with oat bran and soya milk, got my mixed nuts for nibbles at work and salmon with rice for lunch. Off to the gym tonight.

The Dogmother
Thank goodness I didn't go then - any other trainer is a poor substitute for Geoff. I'll be back next week if you're thinking of going - wave if you see me racing around with a red face!
squiffs
5lbs of fat. Better than any 'thinspiration' celebrities and glossy magazines can provide, I think!

Seagazer
Well done Chucky Mama To the rest of us that have had slips, lets not give up. We can still carry on. I'm a great believer that if you deny yourself something you will just want it more. Its just everything in moderation, well thats my excuse anyway. That photo is disgusting. I might see if I can print it out and stick it on the fridge (which is luckily fairly empty of cheese)
chickencam
I wish that you would all stop talking about cheese, i have a very nice soft goats cheese with cranberries that is already past it's date but still ok and now I want to finish it off. Hate waste love cheese On the plus side I do seem to have lost about 4lb since this started so my move more principle must be doing something, having very little chocolate and no Christmas cake left probably helps too. Must get active today though, because YD is off school with a rotten cold and I spent quite a lot of the morning lazing around in bed chatting to her, which was lovely but got nothing done and I will probably get a cold for my trouble too. chickencam
I have spent the day so far doing lots of serious cleaning and sorting including washing windows, so I must have burnt a few calories.
patsylabrador
Should I stop exercise even if I feel like doing more and stick to my plan or should I carry on until I feel I've pushed myself more? I ache and feel tired today but felt like doing more, but thought that might be counter-productive.
