Omleteers Fit for 2012

Recommended Posts

Forgot to weigh myself this morning so shall do it tomorrow. Not expecting to have lost anything. Didn't do much extra exercising in the last few days and had an evening out with gorgeous food, only good thing was that it was miniscule portions. Can't say the same about the wine though.....

Did the Leslie Sansone walking dvd a couple of times last week, and have just done 40 mins Zumba, dreading weigh in tomorrow as have IBS flare up at the mo, and I'm so bloated all over I can't even get my rings off & they were rattling last week :(

I've not been bad foodwise & have stayed within my allowance, but feel fed up as if I manage to lose 2lb this week I'd have hit my first stone & it doesn't look like it's going to happen!

Oh chin up Reiki, you'll get there, I know you will. Well done for doing all the exercise.

I was not very good at keeping up with the exercising last week. I've put on a pound :( and I've hurt my back picking up my kayak at the lake on Saturday (must remember to bend my knees  )

Everyone is doing so well; I love this thread! :D

Collected the rowing machine last Thursday - probably used up 200 or so calories getting the damn thing in the car; wow is it heavy :o ! Now doing 2 lots of 10 mins on that per day and 10 min basic step on the Wii and may try to cut a row session and put in an extra step from time to time and see how the hip reacts. OH got on it for the first time and promptly fell off as the seat shot back; couldn't help laughing as he lay there on his back saying that it was supposed to get him fit, not land him in A&E!

I was only joking when I said that the rowing machine would make a great coffee table but....... it is still sitting in the sitting room as we have decided that having to walk past it constantly means we are both more likely to use it; if we had to make the effort to get it out from wherever then we probably wouldn't bother  .

Would be nice to see a corresponding drop in weight tho :wall: Don't know how long these good intentions will all last!

Everything has gone a bit pear shaped on the losing weight front :( It really all started with a box of chocolates a week ago and has descended since then). I weighed myself and I am either the same or have put on 2lbs ......I hate my scales :(:(:( On a positive note I have lost at least 2lbs since the start of this. I really must pull myself together  I know what needs to be done. Off to badminton later.

I skipped circuits on Monday night; felt rubbish and very tired so got an early night instead. Last night was bad though - I discovered some rather nice cheese at the back of the fridge and scoffed it

Back on track today though - bowl of porridge with oat bran and soya milk, got my mixed nuts for nibbles at work and salmon with rice for lunch. Off to the gym tonight.

Geoff wasn't there on Monday, Circuits didn't look great and not many people there so you didn't miss much.

I skipped Pump and went to the gym.

Well done Chucky Mama

To the rest of us that have had slips, lets not give up. We can still carry on. I'm a great believer that if you deny yourself something you will just want it more. Its just everything in moderation, well thats my excuse anyway. :D

That photo is disgusting. I might see if I can print it out and stick it on the fridge (which is luckily fairly empty of cheese)

I wish that you would all stop talking about cheese, i have a very nice soft goats cheese with cranberries that is already past it's date but still ok and now I want to finish it off. Hate waste love cheese

On the plus side I do seem to have lost about 4lb since this started so my move more principle must be doing something, having very little chocolate and no Christmas cake left probably helps too.

Must get active today though, because YD is off school with a rotten cold and I spent quite a lot of the morning lazing around in bed chatting to her, which was lovely but got nothing done and I will probably get a cold for my trouble too. :?
