keyhole kate
DH & YD surprised me with 2 new hens today for my birthday which was earlier in the week one is a cute fluffy black Silkie the other is a bitsa she def has silkie in her as she has a little tufty head but what the other half is they don't know and by the sounds of it the owner of the farm just said a silkie X bantam. They were allegedly born end of August beginning of Sept so am I right in thinking they can have layers pellets ? should they have roosting bars ? just as well I have separate accommodation I feel like a kid at Christmas I can't believe DH bought me chickens I will post some pics later when I have calmed down Edited January 30, 2012 by Guest
