Patricia W
We're forecast a dry day here in Abingdon (for once) so I have a list of jobs like cleaning chickens, and planting the large number of bulbs that it seemed a good idea at the time to buy! Eggasperated
Lovely here now (for November), drizzled a bit earlier but have managed to give the chicken house a scrub out.
The Dogmother
Sunny here too - wish I was at home to get out in the garden and muck out the chooks.
Patricia W
Clare- your time will come! The problem is that now I have time because I have retired, I also have arthritis, and less energy, so everything is a huge effort. But today I have mucked out the Omlet WIR, (and boy, did it need it!), filled the compost heap and several bags with chicken poo, and planted out 6 shrubs that have been hanging around for 2 weeks. I haven't got round to the bulbs though. And now the big girls are nice and clean, I'm thinking I should clean out the bantams.... I'm just having a cuppa and may go back out - but I may not.... I think I may pay the price for all this activity tomorrow - but at least I feel I've made some progress today. Lovely and sunny still here. chickencam
We had a beautiful mid morning until just after lunch, the nut clouded over again and we had a sharp shower, been ok since though.

The Dogmother
It's cold and drizzly here now. Still, I guess it's to be expected at this time of year
Eggasperated
Came out from my Pilates class last night to find there had a been a torrential downpour and storm, and half the roads were flooded . Today is damp but clearing up nicely.
The Dogmother
Clear, sunny with a lovely mist, 3.2deg first thing. This was my view as I drove in the Estate gate to work this morning... sadly none of the deer would co-operate and pose in the frame

The Dogmother
Thank you Daphne, it didn't pick up the colours of the trees in those woods on the hill though Been raining hard here since 11am, now dark and gloomy. 8.8deg.
chickencam
We have had a revoltingly wet day here, quite cold too. We are off to London tomorrow and apparently it is going to rain pretty much all day there too.
The Dogmother
Cold here too Liz, didn't get above 8deg all day dry now though and clear too, so there will be a frost in the morning. We're off to London too - meeting up with friends for lunch and then (if the weather permits) watching the Lord Mayor's fireworks.
Eggasperated
After a very hard frost sat night / sun morning we had a beautiful day on Sunday. We spent most of it tackling some more of the yards of hedges we have to cut. Today is mild and wet - what a contrast!
The Dogmother
Absolutely gorgeous yesterday - like you, we have a contrast today.... cold, wet and miserable; my office has only just nudged up to 15deg!

Saronne
Cold, dreary and damp here in Leicestershire. I'll come home to my cats staring at the woodburner, willing it to light. Saronne
chickencam
It has been mild and wet here, it improved a little this afternoon, ie it stopped raining, but was still misty and damp. It is so wet and muddy everywhere.

The Dogmother
-0.3deg this morning, first really good frost and it's beautiful here. The sun is warming up nicely and the steam is rising off the thatches.
chickencam
We came home from an evening out at about, 10.30pm yesterday and the car on the drive was covered with the hard bobbly sort of frost even by then. It is a beautiful crisp morning here too. It was our anniversary yesterday and the weather was so similar to the day we got married and the morning after, usually our anniversary is mild and wet, brought back good memories.
