It's looked like snow here all day, not risen above 1deg, but hasn't produced anything I fully expect to wake up to whiteness in the morning I have a long journey tomorrow too.

It's snowing here

It's been steadily coming down in big fat flakes for about an hour now and we have a light coating.

 

Probably won't last for long but I'm pleased to have had my fix of the white stuff!

My little 21month old is in a bit of a frenzy about it

Took my eye off the ball, now the world us white. We didn't notice until we went into the kitchen with the cups before bed. Snowing steadily and finely but quite wet.

It snowed overnight. Have been out at 5.30 to clear a path down to the birds. Hubby kindly wiped it off our cars when he went earlier. It looks like there's more to come. So far the wadding is only about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch thick. And the lovely thing is that it doesn't feel cold at all!

It snowed hard here at about 10.30pm for half an hour, we have about an inch of snow this mroning, but even my road has clear ruts down it, which is unusual. It has all frozen and is -1.5deg now. The sky looks full of it, so I have left Rosie with instructions to ring me if it looks like getting bad here.

Roads pretty clear. Snowing a fair bit where Mostin's birds are but it had stopped on the home journey. Very soft and squidgey - perfect for miniature snowmen and a slushy snow angel. Fab for snowballs!

Yikes....woke to about 2in of snow this am.........panic to get out of the house 10 mins early to allow for nasty country roads! Really slippy in places and didn't get over 25mph! Head and I then de iced the playground and school paths (I am H&S govenor!!!)

 

Still some left at 12.30pm but not sure how long it will last. Not, apparently, due any more for the next few days but this will be nasty if it doen'st thaw properly and then re freezes overnight

We're still crunching through last week's snow, which has thawed a bit and then repeatedly frozen again. The only plus is that the dogs still get to play in it and they go absolutely potty for snow

I remember sitting on the patio of an evening last summer, with a nice glass of chilled white ...

Well the aliens were here a short while ago for about an hour - I think they got bored and went west. But all the snow has gone from earlier. Just a couple of bits where cars were brushed and paths were cleared.

We had a covering of snow last night - not a thick layer but enough to make the roads pretty slippy and the journey home from agility training a bit hairy

We then had quite a heavy flurry this morning at around 8am. I came home from walking Tango looking like the abominable snowman

We were forecast possible snow over night - none... yet!

We are forecast some wet snow showers this morning on one of the forecasts I looked at.

 

There was a light covering this morning on the cars but the road was wet. We have had the odd flurry and what is on the cars seems to be melting a bit.

No snow predicted at all, but woke up to a completely white world....!

 

So grateful that my mums car was still at my house. Motorcycle was a no no and public transport had big issues with a broken down train.

Had another sleety shower just as I was shutting the birds in. Typical. And worse - Squirt wouldn't let Merry into the cube so I waited and got snowed and sleeted on. And then I got a bamboo cane and steered her in. Nothing today so far but we still have leftover snow in the back garden and I can still see loads of piles - some quite big - dotted around the countryside.
