Cat tails
Drove to school in a hail storm this morning... Hail hurts when you're going 100 km/h on a motorcycle!

Egluntyne
Been sleeting horribly most of the day here. If only it looked as beautiful as Patsylabrador's picture.
ali-s
Hate it, hate it, hate it, Snowy here yesterday and today. Roads were a bit snowy and icy this morning. OH is driving down to Edinburgh today. I will not settle until he has phoned to say he got there safely. I was hoping the snow gates on the A9 would have been closed. I presume they are open as OH is not here, but he should have phoned by now
Lavenders_Blue
Patsylabrador, your picture looks idyllic. I'd be really happy if the snow can hold off until after I finish work on the 19th. I've got a few nasty journeys to make in the next week and a bit and I could do without snow making the roads treacherous. After that I don't care and will be happy to stomp around, build snowmen and road test the Yaktrax I bought last year, but didn't need
Luvachicken
My perfect snow time would be for it to snow on Christmas Eve - once everyone has arrived - so that it looks really pretty on Christmas Day and then has melted by the end of Boxing Day. I do love snow but not when I need to go out.
bluekarin
That would be perfect! However, if I could have it gone by the end of Christmas Day this year would be great as I am flying on Boxing Day
Ain't Nobody Here
This was the view that I would have seen yesterday if there wasn't a blimming great housing estate between me and those hills .
The Dogmother
That's beautiful Vicki.... bet you miss your view.
Cat tails
Wow! I wouldn't mind the housing estate if I could be that close to those hills! You UK people have the best country side!
Ain't Nobody Here
Yes, I don't suppose you get to see much in the way of hills .
Cat tails
We don't do hills, we do dips... Well one big dip!
Ain't Nobody Here
We visited the highest waterfall in the Netherlands when we were on holiday there a few years ago. We tried not to laugh out loud but it was quite hard .
Cat tails
Oh you can mock my little beloved dip, but at least we've got dykes... Or something... Doesn't really sound like a good argument, but it just must be!
Ain't Nobody Here
One thing you have got is fantastic roads for cycling .
Cat tails
One thing you have got is fantastic roads for cycling . That's for sure! No hills that need climbing. If only my work was slightly closer to home, I would definately cycle to school everyday.
percy049
I miss being in flat Norfolk, there are too many hills in Surrey!
The Dogmother
I spent a lot of my childhood in Norfolk - really love it.
Lewis
It snowed here (Slovakia) a few weeks ago but it only lasted a few days, has been cold and windy since but no sign of snow yet! There's a ski slope behind dorms so when it does snow we're jumping on the bus and heading up there One of the girls at Falconry got this photo of Frantiska the Harris Hawk:
